  • Transition from higher education to the IT sector in Cluj-Napoca

The present paper focuses on those factors that affect transition from higher education to the
IT sector in Cluj-Napoca, in cases of entrants with informatics, automatization and computer
technology degree. The results show that transition to the IT market in Cluj-Napoca is primarily
influenced by the dependency of the local IT market on western IT markets with more central
positions, followed by the competition for workforce. The first factor: dependency is due to skill
shortages on the labour market in Cluj-Napoca. Launching new trainings with the involvement
of other departments at universities, such as design, business, sales, marketing or business
informatics can reduce dependency according to the representatives of the local institutions of higher education. Transition from higher education to the IT sector for entrants in ClujNapoca is smooth, due to the strong competition for workforce (second factor). Entrants select
their potential workplace based on the reputation of a workplace, position/projects, team
and remuneration. Labour shortage is present both in the IT sector and in higher education.
A long-term solution for reducing labour shortage in both sectors could be provided by creating
attractive career paths in the academy which would require stronger cooperation between
companies, state and higher education institutions, according to the representatives of the
    institutions of higher education.

NGOs are now considered by social researchers to be a full member of society, and are increasingly visible in public awareness, media and vocabulary, which shows their growing influence and importance.
Their numbers are constantly growing, and their services and activities are expanding. However, in addition to the wide range of tasks and services, there are common features of NGOs that make them a completely separate sector. Their mission is to serve the public and the community, without profit-making being their primary objective (Bányai 1997).
The non-profit sector includes those organisations in society which operate as private institutions but in fact serve community purposes (Simon 1998).

Since the range of activities of NGOs is very broad and it is difficult to draw conclusions from the whole, the focus of this short study is on youth NGOs.

foglalkoztatás területén, tekintettel a nigériai gazdaság egy-szektorú jellegére. Vizsgálataik alapján szerzők javaslatként fogalmazzák meg, hogy figyelembe véve a nigériai társadalom korfáját, jelentős befektetések lennének szükségesek a sportiparba, mely a szektor átalakításával is együtt kellene, hogy járjon.

According to different statements more and more youngsters, under 25 years of age, appear in Public Work Programs at the present time in Hungary. Even it occurs more frequently that pa-rents, primarily because of financial reasons, take out their children from school, and send them to public workers. This paper draws attention to this phenomenon. Furthermore, it shows a possible paral-lel between those young people who are in JWT (Job Without Training) and those Hungarian youngsters who are working in Public Work Programs reflecting on the Hungarian particulari-ties of this parallel.
The concept of JWT and its categories are presented, and also which of these categories may connect with the Hungarian public workers’ state of being. Statistical data show the rate of public workers and their gender breakdown. Reports also suggest that the rate of young public workers is growing and their situation may become futureless. The author thinks that the growth of young public workers’ rate and their settled situation in this employment sector is likely to make inevitable for them to become NEET in the future.

The purpose of this study was to submit the last years’ particularities of the hungarian
economical supports in ventures’ improvements of competitiveness, representing through the
transcarpathian business environment and a specific sector (credit unions). In the period when
the study was being carried out there were not such statistic data at service as the efficiency
of the supports could have been shown precisely, but in virtue of the first years’ experiences
those deviances and elements (which need minor corrections) have been clarified which can improve the plans’ fulfilment. On the other hand – which means the central point of the study –
the authors’ realization is over the non-refundable aids to grant micro or so called co-operative
credits which makes independent the economics’ process of quickening, which can give a longterm
insurance to the capitalization’s enhancement of the micro-, small- and medium-sized
enterprises (ventures). For this a good tool can be the resurrection of the credit union system and
the improvement of the infiltration to our economical system, which is widespread in Ukraine,
endemic in Transcarpathia but not peculiar in our hungarian region nowadays. The system’s
estimate of situation and the principle proposal for the future is drafted in this study.

In the era of the innovation economy it is natural that innovation is one of the key definitions, because of its literature is excessively far-reaching: global, micro and macro level, in connection of
the business and non-business sector, it’s also defined in social context. The literary background
of this essay shows a historical overview of the development that occurred in the definition of
    innovation and its different interpretations.
After exploring the literary background a quantitative, descriptive and explanatory statistic
analysis will be written in a monothetic and deductive approach. In this phase of my research
I will make macro level international comparative analyzes with the help of the EU and the
WEF (World Economic Forum) data base (Innovation Union Scoreboard, illetve Global Competitiveness Index), and the SPSS software. This essay’s goal is to determine whether there is a
connection between innovation processes and the forming of competitiveness on a macro level
and if there is how it can be interpreted. Later with a similar goal and methodology I would like
to make international micro level comparative analyzes and then by combining the macro and
micro level results, I will determine how the macro level innovation policy influences the micro
level innovativeness and competitiveness. Using all of these results I would like to determine the
special features of the national innovation policy and the chances for optimalization.
