Analysis of the Supply of Sport Services by Organizational Aspects
465-474Views:451The spread of consumer societies has led to the commercialization, and the emergence of profit-oriented operating frameworks in the fields of sport. The sports enterprises, involved in the operation of competing groups on professional, spectator fields of sport have already been examined from legal, economic, organizational points of view by a number of international and Hungarian researchers. In this article, we attempt to cover and summarize the Hungarian research approaches on this subject. The motive behind our investigation is that we should launch an organizational examination of the Hungarian profit-oriented sports suppliers in the near future. We plan to analyse the property, financial, income, organizational, management and labor management related situation of these sports enterprises. In order to ground the research, the review nature summary of domestic economic, organization science related secondary examinations is essential, which allows the development of the appropriate research methodology and the comparison of our results with the antecedents.

Study of the University Electronic Games E-sports League and Its E-sports Players
52-61Views:324E-sports are competitive video games coordinated by different leagues and organisations. E-sports players belong to teams or different managements, which are sponsored by various economic companies and establishment. In the beginning, only offline and then online competitions were organised, and nowadays an offline final takes place in sports halls at the end of an online qualification round. The primary objective of the present research is to study the e-athletes participating in the University Electronic Games (UEG) e-sports competition. In addition to the e-sports players, I consider it important to examine the tournament itself, how the players interviewed rate it and what motivated them to participate again. I conducted an online questionnaire survey among the participants of the three seasons of the UEG online tournament organised by the University of Debrecen. UEG is the largest university e-sport tournament in Hungary in terms of its number of participants, which is why it was selected for the study. The participants in the study are motivated to compete in order to achieve success and enjoy competing to win, for them e-sports is a self-fulfilment. They keep up to date with national e-sports news and competitions through social media and the university mailing system. In general, the participants rate the UEG e-sports championship highly. The organisers need to improve the organisation of the tournament and their preparedness to run a tournament of this size. Their strengths are their helpfulness and their accurate and precise information about the tournament.

Research of Healthy Behavior at Faculty of Economic Sciences' sport sciences' students at the University of Debrecen
165-180Views:621Nowadays the healthy lifestyle is getting more and more attention, thanks to emerging health trends. The review of the literature summarizes the latest results of research on two aspects of healthy behavior. In our primary research, we measured the sporting and dietry habits of sport sciences’ students at University of Debrecen. In the case of sporting habits, we asked the students about the frequency and motivation of sports. In the other hand we asked them about their dietary habits about the frequency and amount of vegetable, fruit and fluid consumption. After the evaluation of survey we can say that the 70% of respondents are satisfied with their physical condition. We can tell about the frequency of vegetable and fruit consumption is that the 15-20% of students eat vegetables and / or fruits daily. However, it can be said about the fluid intake of students that seventysix percent of them are consuming fluid daily.

Opportunities to the urban air quality of characterization by the cost-effective electrochemical sensors

The efficiency of improving air quality can be increased by providing local information on each pollutant source. The aim of our activity is providing real-time high-spatial reasultion data about air quality of the Hungarian capital city, Budapest. In this paper, results of testing and calibration of different low-cost electrochemical sensors and localization of them are represented. The first selected sensor is suitable for detecting carbon dioxide (CO2), alcohols, benzene (C6H6), nitrogen oxides (NOx) and ammonia (NH3). The RingAir initiative also aims to involve the urban population in active environmental monitoring activities, therefore in the future we are planning to implement a more detailed and continuously updated monitoring system with the participation of a Budapest bicycle courier service and some of the city's population.

Dynamic Tests on a Series Wound DC Motor. Simulation of the Braking of the Vehicle Driven by the Motor

We present the input technical parameters which are necessary for the simulation of the series wound DC motor – which drives the vehicle – and also the procedure for their measurement together with the results of dynamic test measurements on the motor. The latest version of our vehicle dynamics simulation program –which is capable of the simulation of braking too – is also presented here.

Global Inversion of Pressure Dependent Acoustic Velocity Data Based on a New Rock Physical Model
47-55Views:257In this paper with the further development of our previously published single exponential model, the new multiple exponential model describing the pressure dependence of acoustic longitudinal wave velocity is presented. Since with increasing pressure in the rock several relaxation mechanisms at the same time can cause the increasing propagation velocity, the new model can handle two or more physical mechanisms (e.g. the closure of pore volume or microcracks or friction on grain boundaries etc.). The previously applied linearized inversion procedure can trap in a local minimum, so during laboratory measured longitudinal velocity-pressure data processing a global optimization method was used to find the absolute minimum. Using the developed model equation as response equation in a Simulated Annealing algorithm the petrophysical parameters of the model can be determined. Inversion results proved that the calculated data using the new model and algorithm matched more accurate with measured data on a rock sample.

The recently published course book “Mathematical Tools in Engineering Applications” is the result of this long term creative work. The book presents the applications of the most important mathematical tools (vectors, matrices, linear functions, complex numbers, differential and integration calculus) in the different fields of engineering, natural sciences and economics. The aim of the authors with the recent publication is the presentation and popularization of the above book together with the educational and methodological trend it represents.

Laboratory Testing of Rediffusion of Contaminants Using DKS-Permeameter
41-48Views:269Decades long hydrocarbon contaminations effecting heterogenous groundwater systems is a common problem both in Hungary and worldwide. Only the treatment of aquifer layers is possible with remediation technologies, so the contaminations remained in the aquitards are released back to the treated porous layer after the treatment due to the changes in concentration-gradient. This process is the so-called back-diffusion: as a result, the previously removed contaminations appear in the remediated layer again. In order to get better understanding of the rediffusion process and the influencing parameters series of measurements were carried out at the University of Miskolc Faculty of Earth Science and Engineering using a special laboratory device called DKS-permeameter. With the help of some small modifications it can be used for the modeling of backdiffusion. Artificially contaminated soil samples were built in the DKS-permeameter from which contaminanant release occured due to back-diffusion. The concentration values were determined with spectrophotometric measurements.

Constructing structures with the use of these prefabricated trusses reduces the need of in-site work, and makes the use of ti mber structures economic. Rods of truss can be connected with the use of hardwood stud. On this way all steel components can be eliminated from the truss, so it can be used in aggressive environment as well. Dowel type connection, with hard wood stud is the subject of the present research. Hardwood studs were investigated individually and also as the part of separated connections of the truss girder.

The Relationship between Family Background and Labor Market Success

In doing so, we put great emphasis on the educational attainment of the parents and the financial situation of the family, as these factors can have a significant impact on young people's learning opportunities, attitudes and career paths. In the theoretical part of our research, we consider it important to present the experiences of domestic and international authors on the socio-economic situation. Subsequently, the 2015 Graduate Career Tracking System (DPR) database provided us an excellent opportunity to study the complex data collected by the 34 higher education institutions. In our analysis, we highlighted the different socio-economic backgrounds of graduates from different disciplines. Based on our research, we have concluded that young people from richer families are in a better position on the labor market, earning higher incomes than children of parents with lower social status

In Europe, most of the entrepreneurship programmes on the higher education institutions are less than ten years old. Whilst business studies may battle for academic legitimacy, it has a clear advantage when it comes to graduate employability. The aim of this paper is to give answer to the following questions: why entrepreneurship education is important, what are the methods which are already used and what are the results of them. The answers to the questions are based on literature reviews, a case study and in-depth interviews with alumni carried out at the University of Debrecen, where since 2010 Team Academy Debrecen, a new education model from Finland is implemented. Tiimiakatemia education is an innovative Finnish model founded in 1993 by Johannes Partanen that develops team entrepreneurs. Based on the results some of the important elements of entrepreneurship teachability are: learning by doing, passion, learning in teams, coaching and mentoring.

Motivational Factors of Choosing BMX and Other Extreme Sports
426-441.Views:615Extreme sports play an increasingly important role in the supply of recreational activities, as an increased consumer demand has shown a dynamic growth over the past decades. In our research, we investigated motivational factors related to leisure time and in particular BMX sport on a sample of 237 people who do extreme sports. Our results have revealed that BMX is mostly chosen by young men as a leisure time activity. The consumers of extreme sports are characterized by internal motivation, pursuit of their own boundaries, testing of novel and exciting activities and the need for doing joint activities with acquaintances and friends.

Changes in the Financial Condition of Families in Hungary between 2000 and 2019

It is determined, among other things, by the development of wages, social benefits, tax rates and the amount of allowances that can be granted. The part of the tax system that affects the largest segment of individuals changes every year, and even during the year, reducing predictability. In recent years, discussions over the taxes have shown that the rate of personal income tax cannot be evaluated separately from the social security contribution rate. Gross average earnings - on the grounds of raising the minimum wage and the guaranteed minimum wage - have more than four-times in nearly 20 years. However the rate of growth is higher in the average net earnings due to changes in the tax system. Compulsory determined wages increased to almost six-times over the years under investigated. But in 20 years, how much has the income situation of an average family living on a salary become more favourable or more unfavourable? In our study we are looking for an answer to how the increase in the minimum wage and the changes in the law how to have affected the livelihood.

Investigating the Motivation of Adventure Park Visitors
106-126Views:474In the world of runaway, “homo-sitting” and mobile telephones, the quality of leisure time is gaining increasing importance, most of which is the experience gained and the characteristics of existing natural factors. A variety of thematic and adventure parks are reported every year, increasing travel and visitors' growth every year, the service offering of which broadly satisfies the needs of modern man and kind. In the focus of our research, we set the link between recreational habits and motivation of adventure park visiting. Use the survey questionnaire to calibrate consumer habits (n = 408). There were significant differences in the number of factors studied, such as those who seek more physical activities in their free time and prefer to respond to the challenge and extravagance motivating motivation in each of the adventure parks, or even for leisure-time enthusiasts. Our research reveals that service providers should consider targeting their leisure time habits, for example, they can benefit from a thorough consumer mapping from the point of view of electoral motivation.

Our research sheds light on how technological innovations affect and influence the position of companies in the market and in financial and human resources. Greywater Treatment with Oxidative Agents
27-31Views:363In our research we pretreated synthetically produced greywaters with filtration on various filters, then we treated the samples with oxidative agents. We characterised the quality of greywater samples with several parameters. We investigated these parameters on the untreated, pretreated, and oxidated samples as well. We evaluated the efficiency of the treatments by measuring the characteristic parameters. In addition, we investigated the changes on the filter media’ surface with a scanning electron microscope (SEM). It was shown, that the most effective treatment combination for the greywater’s preparation for reuse is the filtration on silica sand or activated charcoal and silica sand combined filter media, then oxidation with hydrogen peroxide (10 mmol/dm3).

Sections of Hungarian Contemporary Architecture and Fine Arts

In the historical overview it has become clear that two turning points have influenced contemporary arts: the total art work (Gesamtkunstwerk) of the Ghotic and Baroque styles. I listed the sections in three categories: metamorphosis, relationship and section. The sections are the highest level of these categories. I explained my research in detail by analyzing these sections, at János Megyik's art and his Gate statue at Life Science building and library at the University of Debrecen.

Knowledge of Control Methods and their Application in the Practice of Small and Medium Enterprises in the Northern Great Plain Region

Compared to large companies, SMEs have significant development potential, which can be created in part by the companies themselves, possibly through the introduction of new-modern management - business administration methods or economic policy measures (= targeted and efficient support system), which, by stimulating R & D & I processes, serves to increase competitiveness and contribute more and proportionally to domestic GDP and exports. The analysis presented in the study covers the controlling knowledge of the leading SMEs of the Northern Great Plain Region, the conscious or unconscious application of controlling tools, the assessment of succession, customer and supplier valuation and certain areas of managerial accounting. Overall, it can be concluded from the small sample size that the use of controlling tools is proportional to the size of the business, but nevertheless, many mid-size business executives do not require the collection and analysis of insider information that could explicitly help decision making for example through advanced costing procedures.

COVID-19 Pandemic Impact on Employees’ Physical Activity
72-84Views:998Globalization and the recent explosive development of technology have significantly changed people’s lifestyles resulting in an increase in the number of people living a sedentary lifestyle. COVID-19 pandemic has exacerbated the situation and created an unprecedented situation in the world. In the present study, we investigate changes in the physical activity and sedentary behavior of adult workers caused by the coronavirus epidemic. In our online cross-sectional research, we used snowball methodology. The target group of the survey was adult workers. 108 people filled in the questionnaire, the majority (73.1%) are women, the average age is 37.18 years and most of them have higher degrees (Diploma: 74%, PhD: 14%). The present study revealed a decrease in physical activity and an increase in sedentary time for the employees in our study. Despite respondents detected a decrease in their physical activity, an increase was reported in the proportion of online training participants. The majority of respondents partially, or totally switched to work from home during the pandemic, which may further increase their sedentary lifestyle. We did not find significant differences among the domain of work and leisure time or occupational physical activity patterns. The workplace is a great opportunity for promoting physical activity and reducing sedentary time in the adult working population, therefore it would be important for organizations, decision-makers and health professionals to work on the design of strategies to these goals.
