Social Innovation for the Welfare of the Community

The study examines certain social initiatives in the Nyírbátor district, with particular emphasis on the efforts promoting community welfare. The study primarily presents the results of qualitative interviews as part of a doctoral research. The examined cases play an important role in the management of the unfavourable processes in the region, and their adaptation as good practice can support the catching-up process. The study identifies the main groups of aspects that, in addition to structuring the case descriptions, also facilitate comparability of good practice. Documentation based on defined criteria supports the adaptation process, which is critical to the successful implementation of social innovation efforts.

Transformation of the Decisional Leadership Role
26-40Views:342Leadership decision-making is important for the successful functioning of organizations, so it is necessary for leaders to understand the factors that impact their decisions. Decision-making is always the responsibility of the leader, but in a changing world, it becomes an even more crucial factor for success. Making good decisions requires time, experience, and thorough problem-solving skills. In my research, through the analysis of scholarly sources, I have identified several role factors that clearly influence the decision-making process and its implementation. Furthermore, I have developed a self-designed questionnaire to examine the decision-making role in modern organizations. I analyzed the data from 230 respondents using various statistical methods. Based on my findings, conflict management, risk-taking, and a thorough understanding of the problem strongly determine leadership decision-making processes. The ability of leaders to effectively manage conflicts significantly impacts their decisions. Risk-taking is also of key importance, as leaders need to recognize the risks associated with a given situation and make decisions accordingly.

New Research methods of Sales-Marketing Interfaces
160-183Views:509The energy invested in research in this topic is justified by the fact that the lack of optimal integration between SM (sales-marketing) can negatively affect overall corporate efficiency. The aim of this article is to present possible research methods that can reveal the impact of selected indicators, such as information exchange, coordination, vision and communication, conflicts, on the operation of the SM interface, according to Hungarian and foreign employees of international companies, and how they affect sales and marketing collaboration between pharmaceutical companies (PMC) and non-pharmaceutical companies (NPMC). It also attempts to demonstrate how the Partial Least Square (PLS) path modeling technique can provide valuable information on the consequences of management activity, and how the methods provided by Voyant Tools provide further research through quantitative analysis of qualitative data on the marketing sales interface (SMI), they can open up opportunities. The PLS-PM modeling technique was used to explore the relationships between the selected factors and possible hidden variables. These results clearly demonstrate that there are factors that influence SM collaboration that operate differently in PMCs and NPMCs, and that nationality differences can have a significant impact on how employees evaluate factors that affect SM collaboration. Of the methods we selected by Voyant Tools, the t-SNE (t-Distributed Stochastic Neighbour Embedding) tool proved to be the most sophisticated analysis, allowing the deepest analyzes by exploring relationships between groups of terms. -

The Relationship Among Ethics and Conflict Management in Hungarian Metal and Machinery Supply Chains

On contrary all of us know some stories when unethical behaviour resulted tragedy. Nowadays in business life ethics and responsibility appear as necessary value from the aspect of success. More papers state that ethical behaviour offers various benefits in business relationships. Our paper seeks these positives in empirical way by interviewing members and experts of Hungarian metal and machinery supply chains but we take into consideration the network effects as well. Our survey investigates how fair behaviour can prevent or decrease conflicts in business. The results of our qualitative research show that fair behaviour brings certain benefits but the economic reality and the direction of money flow are dominant. We have met various forms of conflict management and found that respondents want to maintain even very problematic business ties as well.

The significance of analysing potential conflicts in the sales-marketing integration
41-59Views:233Our research aims to identify the critical interfaces between sales and marketing that need to be improved in order to ensure productive cooperation. The relationship between the two departments is full of conflicts and interdependencies. The improvement of communication is of strategical importance, as it is key to staying competitive in the market. The effectiveness and quality of the sales-marketing cooperation is a key factor that is negatively affected by personal and organisational factors as well as a lack of information and conflicts. In addition to the key factors of managing the sales-marketing interfaces, we have also identified the actions that can promote their improvement, including strategic and organisational roles and responsibilities. Our empirical research results show that regular information exchange, more common and interdisciplinary meetings, and a clearly communicated and implemented corporate vision have a positive effect on the coordination and integration of the sales and marketing departments. Consequently, management is reponsible for establishing a corporate vision, i.e. a comprehensive management culture that is clearly communicated across the board in order to increase the employees’ sense of belonging. Of all elements of management culture, the most important factors are coordination and the establishment of a common strategic sysyem. All in all, corporate profit, which is of key importance to the employer, is largely dependent on the successful integration of the sales and marketing departments, which can be achieved through the implementation of the above factors.

Optimization of Parking Lot Stormwater Management: a Case Study

This case study evaluates stormwater management strategies across four parking lots in Debrecen, Hungary, to propose effective retrofitting solutions. The methodology combines visual site assessments with a comparative analysis of global best practices identified in the literature. Findings suggest integrating Green Infrastructure (GI) and Low Impact Development (LID) principles into parking lot design can enhance infiltration and significantly reduce surface runoff. Key recommendations include utilizing nearby vegetated depressions and replacing conventional concrete slabs with permeable surfaces. Beyond the flood avoidance, these strategies aim to reduce pressure on the local sewer system and minimize puddle formation.

Battery Measurement Methods and Artificial Intelligence Applied in Energy Management Systems

This study focuses on the type of measurements, tests and methods to reveal and classify them. During manufacturing and operation several faults could emerge in batteries including non-optimal operation conditions, operators without experience, and finally, random changes in batteries under physical and nonphysical conditions. Improper handling of batteries and battery cells man cause operation failures or, in the worst case, accidents. To reveal these problems several methods are applied in industry and in scientific laboratories. For a comprehensive analysis of battery management, artificial intelligence and Industry 4.0 methods can be used very effectively. Big Data analysis in its standard form is not a new achievement, but other mathematical tools could be applied to control monitoring such as Fuzzy Logic or Support Vector Machine (SVM). They are efficient tools to analyse the deviation of batteries condition because it can detect sudden changes, parameter deviations and anomalies, and the user’s behaviour and habits. This article gives a description about the most important battery testing methods and the connection between Big Data and Operation Management with Artificial Intelligent (AI) methods.

Within the framework of this study, our aim was to examine the work experience, later employment plans and income needs of students starting their studies at the Faculty of Economics at the University of Debrecen. In addition, we analyze the most important sources related to student work through literature studies.
It is important to pay attention to changing attitudes of newcomers to higher education as they become active job seekers after graduation. At the Faculty of Economics of the University of Debrecen, about 1,700 students started their studies in the 2019/2020 academic year. Our research was conducted with the involvement of these students.
The data were collected among students participating in the stork camp organized by the University of Debrecen. The survey covers, among other things, the initial salary requirements, previous work experience, future plans, including the willingness to work abroad, and factors that are taken into account when choosing a job.

Challenges of the Quality- and Change Management in the Context of Upcoming Social-Industrial Changes (5.0) – Conclusion of a Survey

This approach wishes to move towards sustainability, which deserves a significant role in nowadays through the world empathizing the negative effects of the wolrd. During my research I was looking for the answer that how the extended industry 4.0 and its tone be in Hungary via supply chain of the automotive industry. During my research I was looking for the answer that how the extended industry 4.0 be in Hungary and its tune through supply chain of the automotive industry. I also have examined that which changes are justified regarding management systems in interest of efficiency and emphasizing the human capital by leaders interviewed. As a part of qualitative research in-depth expert interviews were interpreted with help of content analysis based on the methodology of grounded theory. The results demonstrate the need to review and change existing processes in order to ensure that the potential of human capital is not lost and that technological development, even more so, is at the service of human resources in order to achieve its efficiency and effectiveness. Among the possible tools we can find the re-structurizing changes of post tracking processes of the audits in management systems providing quality. Furthermore, the practical implementation of multifactorial statistical process control in the evaluation of processed data, which may be one of the essences of industrial (IoT) data.

Examination of International Fisheries’ Agreements with Game Theoretic Approaches

Overfishing is a growing problem worldwide and well known from literature. Unfortunately the tragedy of commons could be observed in several empirical studies in the case of international fisheries. In our paper, we focus on the examination of international agreements related the fisheries’ management (with special focus on the issues of overfishing) using game theoretic approaches. We review the history of fisheries’ agreements and the main game theoretic results, well known from literature. We highlight the main types of games applied in the previous research studies and summarize the main results related to the outcome and the stability of the game. To this topic better understood, certain empirical examples are introduced as well.

Implementing 5S in a Hungarian Company

On this basis, the objective of this paper is the implementation of a Lean office with a 5S system transformation into the traditional office environment of a private business. During the workflow, it is also planned to create new habits in this narrow space that will incorporate the organizational culture into the everyday life of the business making the administration more effective. The 5S concept is new and helps the company to operation on a larger scale with fewer inputs than before. Artificial Intelligence in Human Resources Information Systems: Investigating its Trust and Adoption Determinants

This study is an attempt to fill the research gap associated with the factors that have influence with the adoption of artificial intelligence in human resources information systems on HR-leaders intention to use it. It empirically investigates the influences that trust, technological readiness, facilitating condition and performance expectancy on HR-professional’s behavioral intention to use AI in HRM. Besides, examine the moderating effect of age and experience on the proposed associations. Data were collected from by online questionnaire from 185 HR managers. A structural framework was introduced to test the relationship between study latent variables. Result exhibited that trust and performance expectancy has a significant influence on HR-professionals behavioral intention to use AI-HRIS. Trust and technological readiness showed a significant influence on HR-professionals performance expectancy of using AI-HRIS. While facilitating condition, organizational size and technological readiness did not show a significant influence on HR-professionals behavioral intention toward using AI-HRIS. Lastly, Age and Experience did not have a moderating effect on trust and performance expectancy association with the behavioral intention toward using AI-HRIS. The findings of this study contribute to the theory development of information technology diffusion in HRM.
