Efficiency of the Machining Process of Circular Shapes by Electrical Discharge Technology
53-61Views:115Due to its high machining precision, EDM technology is nowadays very important in the production of high-precision parts for various industries. The high precision of the machined surface in combination with the ability to machine circular surfaces brings, in addition to several advantages, some negatives. The most significant negative of this machining technology is the relatively low productivity as well as the overall production efficiency. The latter is affected by many accompanying phenomena. The main accompanying phenomenon that contributes to the decline in the overall economic efficiency of EDM is the microgeometry errors that occur due to the non-homogeneity of the EDM process. Another accompanying negative phenomenon is the geometric accuracy errors of the machined surface, as a consequence of systematic destruction of the wire tool electrode, faulty interpolation in its guidance, and, last but not least, its vibration. These aspects consequently lead to the requirement for multiple applications of additional finishing cuts, which significantly reduces the overall economic efficiency of the machining process. Therefore, the experimental research aimed to search for options that can effectively help to achieve higher productivity but especially the overall economic efficiency of the machining process.

Creativity and Innovation to Improve Processes in a Textile Industry
80-96Views:179In this scientific work, the My Creative Idea (MIC) program was created and developed in the Coteminas S.A. textile industry, distributed among the organization's units in the country with emphasis on the São Gonçalo do Amarante unit in the state of Rio Grande do Norte. The aim was to critically analyze the improvements of industrial-scale processes resulting from the creativity and innovation intrinsically incorporated and experienced daily in the program. Thus, the general objective of the work was to evaluate the improvements in the productive processes coming from an innovation program in a textile industry, considering as specific propositions with respect to calculating the gains with reduction of losses, cost of implementation of ideas and measure financial returns and evaluate employee satisfaction according to the program. Moreover, there was free access in the company to be able to collect valuable information that could formalize a robust database for later structuring of the document, as well as the application of action research in the form of questionnaires. Therefore, the results verified clarified and emphasized the program's aggregating character to the organization in a general way under aspects that approach the financial spheres, the quality, and the satisfaction and motivation of the employees involved in this whole scenario. I suggest continuing to work on a continuous improvement methodology to further enhance My Creative Idea over the years, as well as insert this method of work to units that have not incorporated this program into their business strategies.

Our goal is to improve adhesion properties and thus the adhesion quality.

Evaluating the Entrepreneurial Performance in South America. Case of Chile
13-28Views:134The research objective is to explore Chile's entrepreneurial landscape by assessing individual characteristics and institutional factors through a 'pillars' framework and compare it against Colombia, and Brazil; to identify socio-economic, individual, and institutional differences using the Global Entrepreneurship Index (GEI); to apply bottleneck approach to highlight areas requiring policy intervention. GEI features individual and institutional stage variables in a method where every variable collaboratively interacts, incorporating 14 foundational elements and three sub-indexes: attitudes, abilities, and aspirations. Ranking 18th on the GEI globally and the best in Latin America, Chile excels in key entrepreneurial pillars, showcasing strengths in innovation and a robust entrepreneurial culture. Brazil closely rivals Chile in competition and networking, emphasizing political and economic influence. Colombia surpasses Chile in internationalization and growth-stimulating policies but faces challenges like historical conflicts and wealth distribution. This study identified areas where immediate policy intervention may be necessary by examining Chiles's entrepreneurial ecosystem. The Penalty for Bottleneck (PFB) technique identified the weakest pillars highlighting process innovation, competition, and internationalization. The primary component identified as a bottleneck for resource allocation is Process Innovation, accounting for 73% of the allocation, followed by Competition at 23%. The findings show that allocating more resources to process innovation may improve greatly the overall GEI score.

Subsequently, the 2015 Graduate Career Tracking System (DPR) database provided us an excellent opportunity to study the complex data collected by the 34 higher education institutions. In our analysis, we highlighted the different socio-economic backgrounds of graduates from different disciplines. Based on our research, we have concluded that young people from richer families are in a better position on the labor market, earning higher incomes than children of parents with lower social status

Human security issues of deep wells retraining
114-123Views:89Nowadays, in the world's energy production structure, fossil fuels dominate and at the same time cause a number of environmental problems. Comparing the use of conventional fossil fuels with geothermal energy, this kind of energy production is extremely beneficial, as there are no pollutants and a renewable energy source. Moreover, if we want to compare geothermal energy with other renewable energy sources (such as wind energy, solar energy, etc.), much of the benefits can also be attributed to geothermal energy becouse it is a stable energy source and the area requirement is low. Due to these extremely favorable properties, the study of the applicability of geothermal energy is gaining ground in renewable energy sources. In addition, it is well known that there are approximately 20 to 30 million abandoned oil wells in the world, plus sealed wells for other purposes, and the final number may be much larger. In the case of abandoned oil wells, the escaping residual oil may be a problem, which can lead to significant environmental problems. Taking these factors into account, research on the recyclability of abandoned wells for geothermal purposes becomes a target for more and more research topics around the world. It is interesting to note that a significant part of the publications are concerned with examining the technological potential of energy utilization, studying heat transport processes, and generating general, energetic or economical evaluations. A publication of a kind that would have evaluated the safety of recyclable abandoned wells in publishing databases was limited. It is therefore an important question that the abandoned wells, from the point of view of human security and environmental protection. How can they be reactive, how can the new technological elements be built up and how much human security factors of the newly created system are affected by the existing elements?

Analysis of Social Media Activities - Through the Examination of Handball Clubs Competing at Different Levels
39-53Views:313In Hungary, handball enjoys special attention and support, this is true not only for our country, but also for Europe, and the sport is gaining more and more space worldwide. One of the biggest innovations of the last two decades is certainly social media, which has reformed the basic strategies related to information transfer and traditional marketing activities. The processes of content production on these platforms have radically changed, which every sports club should pay attention to, as they can gain significant advantages in terms of economics, marketing and community building if they are able to communicate well. Three sports clubs competing at different levels were compared during a qualitative study in terms of their social media marketing strategy activities, namely PICK Szeged, Balatonfüredi KSE – BFKA Balatonfüred and DEAC handball team. The basic concept of this research model was built on how the online marketing communication activities of club teams fighting for different professional goals at different levels differ from each other, as well as what are the development opportunities and aspects that can be used as effectively as possible on social media platforms. The handball club teams agreed on several research questions, but a significant difference could also be discovered in one area, in which the professionals responsible for social media disagreed or represented a different point of view. Looking at my results, it can be concluded that behind a successful online marketing strategy there is always serious preparation and planning work, as well as the diversification of content production on different platforms, because the consumer communities of the platforms are also different from each other.

Evaluation of a Trainee Program’s Selection and Induction
502-511Views:603The research based on the trainee program of a large Hungarian company. The company recommends the program to entrants or those who have 1-1,5 years of work experience. The main objective is the evaluation of the effectiveness of the program through some of the HR functions. This study contains the process of the selection and the evaluation of getting into the program. What makes the program special, is the appearance of the technical mentor. According to the hypothesis, the mentor’s assistance reduces the uncertainty when the trainee inducted into the organization. The occasions of the beginner education, the conversations and feedbacks during the induction adds more efficiency to the success of the program. The searched data in literature features HR functions and mentoring. To learn about the program, a case study was made beforehand, and then the questionnaire was edited for the trainees at the company. In the course of the research, an interview was done with the technical mentor. The interview was based on the questionnaire. In point of the results, recommendations were defined connected to the assumed shortages of the program, also to increase the efficiency of the selection and induction. In conclusion, the maintenance of the trainee program is equally beneficial for the trainees and for the company as well.

Investigating the Motivation of Adventure Park Visitors
106-126Views:303In the world of runaway, “homo-sitting” and mobile telephones, the quality of leisure time is gaining increasing importance, most of which is the experience gained and the characteristics of existing natural factors. A variety of thematic and adventure parks are reported every year, increasing travel and visitors' growth every year, the service offering of which broadly satisfies the needs of modern man and kind. In the focus of our research, we set the link between recreational habits and motivation of adventure park visiting. Use the survey questionnaire to calibrate consumer habits (n = 408). There were significant differences in the number of factors studied, such as those who seek more physical activities in their free time and prefer to respond to the challenge and extravagance motivating motivation in each of the adventure parks, or even for leisure-time enthusiasts. Our research reveals that service providers should consider targeting their leisure time habits, for example, they can benefit from a thorough consumer mapping from the point of view of electoral motivation.

Was UEFA’S Goal of an Environmentally Friendly Euro 2020/21 a Success?

On the other hand, more traveling became necessary. How does these effects behave with each other? Was the attempt to reduce emissions successful?
This paper seeks to compare the goals for UEFA 2020/21 for environmental friendliness and its success. A mixed research strategy was adopted in this paper where qualitative analysis was done on existing literature review and also quantitative approach where assumptions were drawn from literature review to estimate the environmental impact. This paper found that UEFA's initial estimate of 425,000 tons of carbon dioxide emissions in traveling for the Euro Cup 2020 was a bit higher than the actual amount of carbon emissions from our calculation of 143,531 tons. What stands out is that its findings agree with UEFA's estimate that Euro Cup 2020 emissions were lower than that of 2016 which emitted 517,000 tons of carbon dioxide for traveling. This gives a greater reason to conclude that UEFA met its goal of reducing carbon emissions. The overall carbon dioxide emissions in traveling and constructing stages were 1,275,988 tons in Euro Cup 2020 and 2,803,000 tons in Euro Cup 2016. This further affirms the overall carbon dioxide emission reduction by half in Euro Cup 2020 as compared to Euro 2016. From our findings, we can conclude that the Euro Cup 2020 indeed succeeded in reducing overall carbon dioxide emissions by half. Literature Overall of Fatigue Analysis Approaches of Vehicle Components Made of Rubber

However, there are many cases when other important properties come to the front, as well as high deformation capacity with elastic behavior, high viscosity namely good damping effect. Due to its above mentioned properties, rubber is widely used in vehicle and automotive industry. Vehicle components made of rubber usually exhibit large deformations. Cyclic finite deformations generate temperature in hyperelastic materials. Furthermore it is necessary to take into consideration the effects of ambient temperature. The mechanical properties of rubber depend on temperature and temperature changes can accelerate chemical alteration processes which lead to the material deterioration and fatigue processes. Research on fatigue behavior and fatigue properties of rubber has a great significance for predicting fatigue life and improving durability of rubber products. There are several studies on the fatigue behavior of rubber-based materials, but there is less research in the fatigue life prediction considering the influence of temperature and temperature changes. First purpose of this paper is summarizing the influence of temperature and temperature changes on the fatigue behavior of rubber. The second purpose of this study is to provide an overview of the state of the art on the fatigue life prediction of rubber with primary focus on the different methods available for prediction of fatigue life under the influence of temperature and temperature changes.

Investigation of Aluminum Dross as a Potential Asphalt Filler

Stockpiling in landfills is not a final solution, therefore researchers try to find alternative methods to utilize these materials [1-5]. One potential area may be road construction. Fillers are one of the most important components of asphalt pavements. It has a dual role. First of all, these fine grained mineral materials (d<0.063 mm) enhance the cohesion with bitumen. Second is to fill the gaps between the particles to produce more compact mixture [6]. The aim of this research is to reveal the possibility of utilization of aluminum dross as a potential asphalt filler. This material, which is a by-product of aluminum casting process, is produced in large quantities year by year and its storage in landfills is not a proper solution. Therefore, there is an increasing demand to utilize this material. During the research material structural tests were made, which can characterize the samples (limestone powder, dross), and the cohesion between bitumen and filler can also reveal. Particle size distribution, BET specific surface area and porosity were investigated. Scanning electron micrographs were taken and oil adsorption test were also made.

We wanted to obtain an answer whether the new system is better for promoting the development of the administrators than the former method and to what extent administrators require feedback related to their job as well as whether this system is properly inspected and controlled by leaders. During the research we targeted three focus points related to the development aspect: self-check, constructive feedback and the degree to which seated work is controlled. Based on the results of the investigation we draft such suggestions which can promote efficiency if necessary and possibly even make the operation of the system more efficient.

In this research we selected the four disciplines of sports - canoeing, modern pentathlon, wrestling, judo - I examined the domestic situation and competitiveness. The sports competitiveness investigated on the basis of their role in the media occupied, according to the method of the International Olympic Committee (IOC). The IOC and the Olympic Games Organising Committee (OCOG) mediation from the proceeds distributed to sports, by way of support. Application of Nanomaterials in Food Industry and Agriculture

Direct Optimization of an Automotive Sheet Metal Part Using ANSYS
134-142Views:443Optimization of automotive parts nowadays is mainly used to design lightweight and cost-effective vehicle parts in order to improve the cost and efficiency. In this research, a sheet metal part was taken into consideration and optimized using direct optimization module in ANSYS to evaluate the process. An initial Finite Element Analysis (FEA) was done on the sheet metal part by adding forces and constraints in order to initiate direct optimization. The purpose of the optimization is to minimize the mass of the sheet metal part and maintaining a certain Factor of Safety (FOS) by automatically modifying the sheet thickness and the dimension of the side holes. As a result, the best candidate point with 23% mass reduction was found which complied with FOS value was selected for optimal geometry.

Talent Management in International Practice Through the Example of Europe and China

The current labour and talent shortage across Europe forces local companies to supply their demand of manpower from foreign countries – encouraged by the ’four freedoms’ of the EU. In consequence of the globalisation, we have to keep in mind that running a talent management system has its challenges. For instance, employees with different cultural background might have unconventional needs. Due to the cultural, demographical and economical differencies, we must know the structure of our labour force to use the most beneficial tools to induct, motivate or retain our human resource. The aim of this research is to analyze Europe’s and China’s talent management systems to reveal similarities and differencies between them and pick the most notable ones. From the point of comparison, analysing China would be important for European countries to discover further possibilities, as nowadays China has one of the most dynamically developing economy with enormous population behind. The primary result of the research is that deficiency of talent is irrespective of the size of the population and it causes difficulty in both European and Chinese fields, therefore it proves to be a real and general challenge needing attention at organizational level. Furthermore, identifying regional patterns considering peculiarities, the framework of talent management systems can be defined and be found summarised in the article.

The significance of analysing potential conflicts in the sales-marketing integration
41-59Views:146Our research aims to identify the critical interfaces between sales and marketing that need to be improved in order to ensure productive cooperation. The relationship between the two departments is full of conflicts and interdependencies. The improvement of communication is of strategical importance, as it is key to staying competitive in the market. The effectiveness and quality of the sales-marketing cooperation is a key factor that is negatively affected by personal and organisational factors as well as a lack of information and conflicts. In addition to the key factors of managing the sales-marketing interfaces, we have also identified the actions that can promote their improvement, including strategic and organisational roles and responsibilities. Our empirical research results show that regular information exchange, more common and interdisciplinary meetings, and a clearly communicated and implemented corporate vision have a positive effect on the coordination and integration of the sales and marketing departments. Consequently, management is reponsible for establishing a corporate vision, i.e. a comprehensive management culture that is clearly communicated across the board in order to increase the employees’ sense of belonging. Of all elements of management culture, the most important factors are coordination and the establishment of a common strategic sysyem. All in all, corporate profit, which is of key importance to the employer, is largely dependent on the successful integration of the sales and marketing departments, which can be achieved through the implementation of the above factors.

The Role Of Leader In Work Addiction
1-13.Views:0Over-attachment to work is an increasingly common phenomenon in the lives of people in organisations, and can also be a condition of work addiction. Whoever becomes involved in an organisation, be it a subordinate or even a manager, work addiction has a number of negative consequences at both individual and organisational level. Without being exhaustive, work addiction can have an impact on organisational performance, organisational effectiveness, workplace conflict, career prospects, health maintenance. In this paper, we aim to highlight the most relevant publications from the last five years to report on the impact in an organisation when work addiction arises among subordinates or managers, and how different leadership styles are associated with work addiction among organisational members. The publications were retrieved from Google Scholar and Scopus, and the results of 19 articles are presented in this paper after a review of 263 papers retrieved. The results show that transformational, servant and ethical leadership styles have ambiguous effects on work addiction, unlike laissez-faire or abusive leadership styles, the former enhancing and the latter reducing the incidence of work addiction in an organisation. Work addiction of managers also has a dual effect: on the one hand, it can enhance creativity, but it can also increase turnover among subordinates. Social support from the manager can be an antidote to subordinates' work addiction, but this effect may be modified by the quantity and quality of interaction between manager and subordinate, the sense of meaningfulness of the work, or even the organisational culture. Overall, the manager, as a key actor, can have an impact on work addiction in the organisation, but there is not always a consistent position in the research on the cases and the way in which this is done, which calls for further research in the future.

Analysis of Vibration During Turning Process of Different Materials
200-205Views:132In this article, we would like to introduce the problems caused by vibrations in case of polymer turning processes. Nowadays there is a lot of research in this topic, to avoid the unnecessary phenomena of vibrations. The two most common methods are the Spindle Speed Variation (SSV), and the Vibration Assisted Machining (VAM). In case of SSV, the CNC machine can increase and decrease the speed of spindle continuously during turning which can significantly reduce the effects of chatter. This method is beneficial for longer workpieces when there is not any support except the chuck. Vibration-assisted machining can be used to minimise the problems caused by vibrations. VAM combines precision machining with small-amplitude tool vibration to improve the fabrication process. It has been applied to some processes ranging from turning, drilling to grinding. Based on the enumerated above we made some trial measurements about the basic vibrations of the turning tool shank. The tests were done on an NCT EUROturn-12B CNC machine which can found in the workshop of our institute. The tested material was Polyamide 6 because this is the most commonly used polymer in the industry. In the future, we would like to test some other basic and composite polymer materials too. The equipment was served by a specialist from SPM Budapest Kft. With these tests, our goal was to make sure that the equipment and the measuring setup are suitable for our future research.

Ethical Leadership, at the Beginning of a Research

I give an insight into the approaches of ethical leadership, give a literature review on the concept of ethical leadership, and introduce the measurement methods used in the most important empirical researches related to this topic. I also try to report on the first results of my research (I plan to describe features of Hungarian leaders based on a smaller sample). How does this relate to the challenges of Industry 4.0? I give the answer from the fact that, with the advent of these new technologies (which in themselves have ethical questions), among these new challenges, the focus of the manager's attention will continue to be partly on their employees. If they set an ethical example for their subordinates, they encourage their employees to act ethically, which gives the company a competitive edge in many ways, both in the product/service market and in the labor market too. So, with my study, I would like to draw the attention of executives and managers to the fact that new technologies and the human factor together bring new successes, and that one possible way of doing this is by consciously managing their company ethically and developing an ethical organizational culture.

Examining the Competitiveness of Fish Products on the Market

Different processed fish products are available in many countries around the world due to globalization and a fast supply chain. In our study, we examined the market for fish and fishery products using secondary data collection. The data were collected several years ago from the databases of FAO, EUROSTAT, COMTRADE and KSH The comparative advantages or disadvantages of international trade were determined with the help of the RCA index for the role of Hungary and the EU in the world in the case of different categories of fish products. The aim of our research is to compare the fish products of different processing in Hungary and in the EU compared to the international situation, paying special attention to the main exporting and importing countries. Based on the secondary research the study has a detailed the specificities of trade, the trends observed in recent years and the competitiveness of fish products in Hungary and the Member States of the European Union and effect relationships behind the RCA-index results.

Global and Domestic Status and Prospects of Green Biomass Utilization
85-105Views:160Nowadays, the energy consumption of global population is depending on fossil fuels, but the role of renewable energies has been increasing rapidly, primarily due to the depletion of fossil fuels, the appreciation of environmental problems and climate policies. Biomass is the fourth most important energy resource in the world, provided an estimated 70% of global renewable energy supply. However, the annual growth rate of biomass is lagging behind modern renewable energy sources. The type of biomass is very diverse and can be processed and utilised by different methods. Currently, in the "green chemistry" industry (the replacement of petroleum-based, synthetic chemical raw materials with bio-based compounds from plant biomass), the importance of combustion, pyrolysis, biogas, bioethanol, biodiesel and basic chemical compounds production have been increasing. The objectives of the present research is to analyse the global and domestic status of renewable energies and biomass production, furthermore the possibilities of utilization of perennial, herbaceous biomass plant, the giant reed (Arundo donax L.), with which has been conducting research for numerous years at the University of Debrecen.
