Modern Slavery Policies in a Conceptual Perspective
30-35Views:342Most of the people assume modern slavery end up in 19th century. However, according to the International Labor Organization (ILO), today 40 million people live as a slave. Moreover, modern slavery is the world’s fastest growing crime and has huge number, which never occurred in history before. One of the main limitation of the existing literature on contemporary slavery is that it ignores the history of slavery either entirely or alternatively between past and present. However, this article aims to figure out the role of modern slavery, also recommends some suggestions to governments to solve the problem of it. The aim of this paper is to addressing to the modern slavery policies in a conceptual perspective. In the theoretical framework of modern slavery, rational choice theory, conflict theory and human security theory have been selected to describe the sequence of modern slavery.

Investigation of Zeta Potential of Water Based Nanomagnetite-Bentonite Dispersions
54-66Views:145The stability of different type nanomaterials play an important role among recent scientific and industrial
challenges, including the examination of the effect of polymers, surfactants and their mixture on surface and electric surface properties and aggregation extent of dispersed particles, which are of utmost importance. Bentonite and its composite with different nanomaterials are frequently used for instance in environmental protection for wastewater treatment, since due to their great specific surface area they have excellent sorption properties. There are several publications in the literature for the application of bentonite in drilling muds. By using them the fluid loss can be decreased during the drilling process, the filtration of the fluid can be increased, it also improves the rheological properties and the formation damage can also be mitigated. During research the investigation and the analysis of the zeta-potential of nanoparticles and their composites at different pH and salt content can be an interesting topic. During our experiments the electric surface properties of nanomagnetite synthetized in laboratory (NM), cation
exchanged bentonite from Mád (Be) and the composite particles of these particles were investigated. Hybrid particles of different compositions (9:1, 7:3, 1:1, 3:7, 1:9) were analyzed at different potassium chloride concentrations (0.1 – 0.0001 M). The surface adsorption on the surface, i.e. the change in the surface charge can be traced well by analyzing the obtained zeta-potential values. The behavior of such systems was observed in the full pH interval, thus, valuable data were obtained regarding the colloidal stability. As for the stability, different requirements may emerge in practice, there are application fields where the colloidally stable system is advantageous, on the other hand, in some cases, ceasing the stabile system is the goal. Our investigations are of high importance in terms of stability and its characterization. -
Project Risks and Risky Projects
164-189Views:354Projects are key drivers of organizational change, both their failure and success can have significant impact on the organizational performance. Risks may arise throughout the entire project life cycle. Managing these and initial project planning uncertainties is an important task of Project Management. The study describes the application of traditional project management tools and methods in risk analysis, -evaluation and -treatment based on modern project and risk management standards and recommendations. The authors also examine the link between classic project management objectives (project time - resources – scopes) and risk-based decision-making. The different scale and scope of projects call for different responses to the associated risks. The study highlights the possible role of the ISO 31000 risk management standard package in project risk management. The authors analyse the risk management of the different projects on the basis of processing relevant literature, including the relationship of the project stakeholders to the risks. R&D, agile projects and project portfolios have specific and complex risk exposures, but their project management can provide several „hidden” risk analysis and - treatment functions.

Digital Twin and Shadow in Smart Pork Fetteners
515-520Views:306This paper introduces our ongoing research in the field of smart livestock farming. The base idea in this research is to take some industry based concepts, and adapt them into agriculture. In Industry we live the fourth industrial revolution, which is not a technical, but an organization revolution. So in this concept there are two key ideas, which are digital twin, and digital shadow. This article is about creating digital twin and digital shadow of a modern pig fattener. These models are based on the literature, and are identified on the data shared in these. However, these models can’t be used on real systems before identifying them on the actual circumstances. At this stage of research only digital twin of the product was created, and only some aspects of it. This however can simulate an average porkers feed consumption, weight growth and calculate the weight on certain stages of breeding. Further development is ongoing and our target is to make a fully functional model of a pig fattener.

Improving of Geometric Precision in the Manufacture of Circular Holes Using Technology WEDM
238-245Views:215WEDM technology is among the final technology. It is characterized by the high quality of the machined surface. Therefore, a small geometric deviation from the desired shape, position, orientation or run out may have a significant impact on the functionality of the finished component. Its range is largely influenced by the accuracy of the applied electroerosion device, the precision of the workpiece and tool setting, the machining method, but also the combination of each other and the adjustment of all process parameters. They result in the final quality of the machined surface not only in terms of roughness parameters but also in terms of geometric precision of the machined surface. The aim of the paper was to describe the possibilities of improving the geometrical accuracy of WEDM with thin brass electrodes. At the same time, it contributes to an existing database of knowledge that defines the influence of selected aspects on the geometrical accuracy of the machined area in the production of circular openings.

Climate-Neutral Energy Production - Prospects in Hungary in 2024
53-60Views:79In order to protect our planet's climate, it is important to reduce humanity's carbon dioxide emissions significantly. The energy sector is one of the most polluting industries, but the rapid spread of renewable energy sources over the past 20 years can significantly contribute to the reduction of carbon dioxide emissions. The study examined which energy sources are used to produce electricity in Hungary, and how the proportion of renewable energy has developed in recent years compared to more polluting energy production methods. There is a strong negative exponential relationship between the share of renewable energy and the carbon dioxide emissions of the energy sector, based on which the carbon dioxide emissions of the energy sector can be significantly reduced by increasing the share of renewable energy. A forecast was made for the renewable share based on past data and the revised state of the National Energy and Climate Plan in 2023, and a linear forecast was made for the energy sector's emissions. There is a strong exponential relationship between the data series. Both models examined in the study had strong explanatory power, but neither model supports the possibility of climate-neutral energy production by 2030.

A Domestic Investigation of Online Banking
22-32Views:280Nowadays, the spread of digitalization is constantly increasing. The current rising generation is already a “digital native”. As part of digitalisation, mention should be made of the Internet, which has been given a prominent role in our daily lives. We search for information on the Internet, we communicate, we buy. Due to these factors and the pandemic in 2020, internet administration has become a priority. Banks need to constantly adapt to meet their needs, promoting convenient, home banking. In the course of our research, we focused on this continuous adaptation and the resulting improvements. The research focused on the Internet and mobile banks of large Hungarian banks. Sampling took place over 2 periods. Among the primary research tools, we chose document analysis, and netnography. In the research, we compared the functions available on the platforms, the consumer perception of mobile banks and other variables. Based on the results obtained during the research, it can be stated that domestic banks are constantly developing their application along different trends and trying to adapt to changing needs. Serious changes had to be made in the mobile banks of most large banks, even with the permanent elimination of their former mobile banks. Changes can have a strong impact on consumers, who are often more likely to have a negative view of them. Digitalisation is also particularly important in this sector. The study contains the details of the course work prepared for the Scientific Students’ Associations Conference.

The Effects of Quenching and Tempering Treatment on the Hardness and Microstructures of a Cold Work Steel
286-294Views:276The X153CrMoV12 ledeburitic chromium steel characteristically has high abrasive wear resistance, due to their high carbon and high chromium contents with a large volume of carbides in the microstructure. This steel quality has high compression strength, excellent deep hardenability and toughness properties, dimensional stability during heat treatment, high resistance to softening at elevated temperatures. The higher hardness of cryogenic treated samples in comparison with conventional quenched samples mean lower quantity of retained austenite as at samples quenched to room temperature and tempered in similar condition. In the microstructure of samples were observed that the primary carbide did not dissolve at 1070°C and their net structure have not been changed during to heat treatment. During to tempering at high temperature the primary carbides have become more and more rounded. After low tempering temperature in martensite were observed some small rounded carbides also, increasing the tempering temperature the quantity of finely dispersed carbides increased, which result higher hardness. The important issues in heat treatment of this steels are the reduction or elimination of retained austenite due to cryogenic treatment.

Numerical Model Analysis of Myring–Savonius wind turbines
180-185Views:192Nowadays the importance of renewable energy is growing, and the utilization of the low wind energy potential is getting crucial. There are turbines with low and high tip speed ratio. Turbines with low tip speed ratio such as the Savonius wind turbine can generate adequate amount of torque at low wind velocities. These types of turbines are also called drag machines. The geometry of the blade can greatly influence the efficiency of the device. With Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) method, several optimizations can be done before the production. In our paper the Savonius wind turbine blade geometry was based on the so-called Myring equation. The primary objective of this paper was to increase the power coefficient by modelling the effect of the wind on the turbine blade. For the sake of simplicity, a 2D cross-sectional area was investigated in the simulation with ANSYS CFX 19.1.

Sport Consumption, Fan Engagement, Sport Statistics – Post-specific Passing Characteristics in Football
Views:657Digitalization and the explosive development of technology have led to significant changes in football. Due to the increasing amount of data available through various sensors and other data collections, we can observe the rise of data-centric, analytical and statistically oriented thinking in football, which is also of interest to fans. Digitalisation is also closely linked to sports consumption, which is why we have seen significant changes in this area in recent years. The pandemic has further amplified the speed of digital transformation in the sports industry. One of the most important contents for sports organizations and their fans is the in-depth sports statistics and analysis that enhances the consumer experience. In our study, we examined the most common performance indicator in football, passing. Our goal was to examine the position-specific pass characteristics in detail, therefore we also examined different pass properties in our research. As a model for our analysis, I chose the premier league, which has the highest UEFA coefficient. The three rounds (rounds 30-32) of the championship season 2019/2020 have been recorded and analyzed in terms of passes. there was a significant difference between the average number of passes per game between defensive and offensive players (t=7,988, p<0.05). There is also a gradual decrease in the number of passes attempted per match and the accuracy of the pass in the examination of the middle positions when examining the positions in the depth of the pitch. For both pass accuracy and average pass count, the decreasing ranking corresponds to the position of positions on the pitch (order: 1, central defender 2, defensive midfielder 3, inside midfielder 4, attacking midfielder 5, striker). In the value indicator of the position for passes, offensive positions performed more effectively than defensive positions. The extreme positions also stand out among the attacking positions, where in the case of the position value per pass number, 23.3% of the total test was completed and 14% of the amount of the established position value indicators was provided by these posts. Overall, our study points to post-specific pass characteristics and, knowing this, we can state that the comparison of players' passing performance is relevant if the players are in the same or related positions.

Exploring the Role of Emotions and Moods in Decision Making: Study on the Use of Structured Decision Approach and Intuition
140-149Views:373Emotions and moods can play a significant role in the decision making. The present paper contest this point by providing evidence on the two important approaches used in decision making that is structured decision approach and intuition. For this purpose data was gathered from 150 respondents in two different groups. Chi square test, independent sample t-test and logistic regression analysis were used to test the hypothesis. The results of the study reveal that individuals with positive and negative mood state vary significantly in their use of structured decision approach and intuition. The individuals with negative mood state are more likely to use all steps of structured decision approach as compared to the individuals in the positive mood state. The results of the study further reveal that the individual’s emotional state significantly predicted the use of structured approach and intuition in decision making.

Exploration of Labour-Market Attitudes Towards Migrants Among University Students
1-12Views:164The aim of this article is to present attitudes towards migration, migrants based on the results of a questionnaire filled out by university students. The definition of the migrants is followed by the results of the study. The results of the survey show that the students who consider themselves basically tolerant are rejecting migrants in action. The answers related to the educational level of the migrants have shown that basic qualification and professional knowledge can be assumed of the migrants, unless the respondents took the view that migrants have no measurable school education. The migrants’ attitudes towards work are generally wrong according to the respondents. Perhaps that is the reason why the people who filled out the survey would not work together with or employ migrants.

The New Type of Employment: the Specificity of the Platform Economy and Platform Work
75-90Views:323The industry value of the global platform economy exceeded 7 trillion US dollars by the end of the second decade of the 21st century. The income generated by the platform economy in the European Union produced an almost five-fold increase in the period between 2016-2020, as its volume increased from 3 billion euros to 14 billion euros. Nevertheless, due to the lack of global consensus and precedent, the delimitation of the platform business model and work, its legal regulation and verifiability and compliance, due to its innovative nature, are unresolved at the world and European level. The objective of the article is to define the conditions, rules and practical application of the platform economy and platform work, relying on international (English-language, mostly European) secondary information, thereby revealing the problems and difficulties, as well as discussing its advantages and disadvantages.

Analysis of Social Media Activities - Through the Examination of Handball Clubs Competing at Different Levels
39-53Views:313In Hungary, handball enjoys special attention and support, this is true not only for our country, but also for Europe, and the sport is gaining more and more space worldwide. One of the biggest innovations of the last two decades is certainly social media, which has reformed the basic strategies related to information transfer and traditional marketing activities. The processes of content production on these platforms have radically changed, which every sports club should pay attention to, as they can gain significant advantages in terms of economics, marketing and community building if they are able to communicate well. Three sports clubs competing at different levels were compared during a qualitative study in terms of their social media marketing strategy activities, namely PICK Szeged, Balatonfüredi KSE – BFKA Balatonfüred and DEAC handball team. The basic concept of this research model was built on how the online marketing communication activities of club teams fighting for different professional goals at different levels differ from each other, as well as what are the development opportunities and aspects that can be used as effectively as possible on social media platforms. The handball club teams agreed on several research questions, but a significant difference could also be discovered in one area, in which the professionals responsible for social media disagreed or represented a different point of view. Looking at my results, it can be concluded that behind a successful online marketing strategy there is always serious preparation and planning work, as well as the diversification of content production on different platforms, because the consumer communities of the platforms are also different from each other.

Classification of Nanomaterial’s Risky Properties on the Aspect of Human Safety
34-45Views:186Due to their unique properties the application of nanomaterials continuously extends thus these appear for several industries. The industrial application of nanomaterials became significant during the last decades. As a result of the intensive development, our knowledge about the exact influence of nanomaterials for living bodies and human health is characterised by deficiency for both short and long time. Nanomaterials able to be entered to the living organism through several ways then invade to the circulatory system and the lymphatic system, reach the organs and can induce various kind of damages and serious diseases as a result of their different appearance, physical and chemical properties. Legislation in Hungary and in the European Union seems to be incomplete. There is no document which summarizes and details the risky factors and parameters in case of a risk assessment. Our aim was to develop a criterion system considering the risks related to the use and contact of nanomaterials based on their physical, chemical and biological properties, which criterion system could provide basic principle for a risk assessment thereby make the industrial processes safer both for the employees and those who are in the vicinity.

Impact of Physical Properties of Workpiece Material on Material Removal Rate at EDM
230-237Views:133The volume stock removal from the workpiece during the EDM is one of the important parameters that characterize the productivity of the electro-erosion process itself. Therefore, in terms of the economic efficiency of the electro-erosion process, it is appropriate that the value of the MRR parameter is as high as possible. The paper describes the results of experimental research to identify the extent of influence of the physical properties of the workpiece material on the workpiece material removal rate at EDM. The experiments were carried out using an Aggregron Hyperspark 3 electro-erosion machine on selected tool steels. As a tool electrode material for experimental purposes, graphite with the designation EX-60 was chosen because of its practical advantages.
