Investigation of application and development of precision irrigation technology
239-248Views:250Due to the extreme weather conditions irrigation is nowadays considered an increasingly necessary factor. After evaluating the water requirements of the plant and the available water resources is necessary to decide what irrigation method to use. One of the most commonly used methods in field conditions is rain-type irrigation, of which there are several types (eg linear, winding drum). The uniformity of the field nozzles can be characterized by the Christiansen uniformity factor (CU%) and the distribution uniformity factor (DU%). The coefficients can be derived from the volume of water captured by the rain gauges. Our investigations were carried out in July and August 2019 at the University of Debrecen's Vision Plant Experimental Plant and at a linear irrigation equipment of a Nyírbátor company. The aim of the study was to compare the uniformity of water dispersion applied by conventional linear technology and precision linear irrigation technology. In addition we examined the intercept values of maize.

Analysis of Disinfection Technologies that can Increase the Efficiency of Indoor Logistics Processes, which has been Reduced due to the COVID Pandemic
62-71Views:176As a result of the Coronavirus, both supply chain and internal logistics processes at factories have changed a lot. In many areas, the effectiveness of the logistics processes has declined because of the restrictions implemented against the virus. The study lists some adverse effects where logistics processes had to be modified due to the changing and protection measures against or negative effects of the virus. The authors also argue that these restrictions decreased the efficiency of logistics processes and workers' productivity. One option to increase the logistics sector's efficiency is to use air purification technologies, like the ones studied in this paper: UV-C, Bioxygen® or plasma-ion decontamination technologies. These disinfection processes can create a safe indoor environment. The authors analyse the examined technologies with SWOT analysis. The analysis results demonstrate which disinfection application is the most beneficial to help in improving indoor air quality for logistics processes.

Evolution of Lean Management and the Organizational Learning
251-259Views:643In industry, service and public sector lean approach is gaining ground. However, there is a significant difference between the organizations applying lean concept in case of their lean transformation maturity level as well as their lessons learned. There is a huge variety of methods and techniques which can be used but there are two conditions in case of every organization regardless their sector or their lean maturity level which determine the success of their lean development: lean approach leader and learning organization. Lean leadership is not based on a particular sector or method and a ready-made lean organization is not needed either. The concept of the top management has a huge effect on the characteristics of theorganization but whether the will of the management is enough for the complete transformation or not is the question. Is the target the lean organization itself or how a unit of an organization or the whole organization can react to the change of the environment? The attitudes and behaviors of lean approach leadership can be applied every day, everywhere and support the aim of creating a real lean organization.

Customer and Supplier Relationships and Their Characteristic in the Automotive
1-12Views:292This article gives short review with the help of specialized literature that was written both national and overseas. This gives information about whatrelationships can you speak in the automotive. This study briefly presents what are the forms which are preferred by the companies, they are more general and what distinctive characteristics do the forms of contact have. Essential question of the customer-supplier relationships is the following – how does the customer company treat its supplier as a partner. The supplier relationship is very precious if we are not talking only about easy product-delivery but a positive relationship can be developed between the two sides. The aim of this study is a literature review which has summarized the theoretical ground of this subject, so that means a kind of a starting point in the practice.

Review of Modern Vehicle Powertrains and Their Modelling and Simulation in MATLAB/Simulink
232-250Views:1096Thanks to technological advances and environmental standards, as well as changing usage patterns, road vehicles are constantly developing. Electric and hybrid vehicles are playing an increasingly important role in today’s road transport. The most significant changes are probably in the powertrain of vehicles. The efficiency of internal combustion engines increases while their emissions continue to decline. In addition, high performance electric motors, batteries and even fuel cells play an increasingly important role in hybrid and electric vehicles. In this publication, we review the drive systems of current modern vehicles and the types and characteristics of their major components. We also review the available models and computer programs for their simulation, focusing mainly on MATLAB/Simulink applications. Based on this, we can develop our own models and simulation programs which will help us to perform different driving dynamics simulations and to compare the performance, dynamic and energetic characteristics of these powertrains and their components to each other.

PDCA – How does the Organization Learn?
1-9Views:448An organisation (whether it is in the private or in the public sector)knows where it is headed, it has a vision. To achieve this vision the organisation can have a strategy beforehand or the vision can be the result of a continuously improving strategy. The strategy can be developed according to the earlier routines or in a totally new way. Many times failures help to find a solution better than the chain of successes. The lessons learned should inevitably be part of the following cycles otherwise the same issues rise again and again which finally ends in exasperation and giving up. When we create a learning process it is easier to focus on avoiding the obstacles than motivation. PDCA is a well-known method for it but what prevents us from applying it the proper way? What are the obstacles that prevent the organisation from developing through its learning processes?

Neutral Inhomogeneity in Circular Cylinder Subjected to Axial Load on its Lateral Boundary
35-42Views:148In this paper we consider the problem of single circular elastic inhomogeneity embedded within a circular cylinder whose curved boundary surface is subjected to surface traction acting on axial direction. We investigate the displacement neutrality of the coupled system of host body and inclusion. Neutral inhomogeneity (inclusion) does not disturb the displacement, strain and stress fields in the host body. The deformation of the considered inhomogenneous cylinder is antiplane shear deformation.

Enclosed Garden
25-33Views:191The archetype of the enclosed garden is the medieval hortus conclusus, which make the perfect type from the former types. The enclosed gardens of nowadays have developed from the hortus conclusus, which behave like a prism. Peter Zumthor's Serpentine Gallery Pavilion is the best example for the contemporary hortus conclusus. The purpose of our study to make a typological collection about contemporary enclosed gardens. The base of the typology is the borderline of the garden, the wall of the garden. We based the study of borderline to Dom Hans van der Laan's architectural theory and his monastery building in Vaals. We analyze the typology by six contemporary enclosed gardens from the simple wall to the building volume through the volumes of the wall. The openings of the walls can be the next way of our analysis.

Torsion of Truncated Hollow Spherical Elastic Body
234-240Views:138This paper deals with the torsion of a body of rotation whose shape is a truncated hollow sphere. The material of the truncated hollow sphere is isotropic, homogeneous and linearly elastic. To solve the torsion problem, the theory of torsion of shafts of varying circular cross section is used, which is introduced by Michell and Föppl. Analytical solution is given for the shearing stresses and displacements. A numerical example illustrates the application of the presented solution. The results of the presented numerical example can be used as a benchmark problem to verify the accuracy of the results computed by finite element simulations.

Pure Bending of Homogenous Isotropic Elastic Curved Beam
67-75Views:66In this paper a detailed analysis is given for the pure bending problem of curved beams. The material of the curved beam is homogenous isotropic linearly elastic. The mantle of the curved beam is stress free and there is no body force on the curved beam. The plane of the curvature of the beam is the plane of symmetry for the whole beam. Paper gives the expressions of circumferential and radial normal stresses. A strength of material approach is used to derive the governing equations. A numerical example illustrates the application of the presented solutions.

An Analytical Solution for Static Problems of Cantilever Curved Beams with Variable Cross Sections
226-233Views:145This paper gives an analytical method to obtain the deformation of a cantilever curved beam. The curved beam considered has circular centre line and the thickness of the cross section in radial direction depends on the circumferential coordinate. The kinematics of the Euler-Bernoulli beam model is used to formulate of governing equations. The curved homogeneous and isotropic elastic beam is fixed at the one of the end cross section and on the other end cross section is subjected to concentrated forces and a couple. A numerical example illustrates the applications of the derived formulae.

Risk Management Requirements in Management Systems
314-323Views:249The management system standards published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) contain requirements related to risk management activities. The objective of the current research is to identify the relevant risk management requirements and creating the integral risk assessment method in Quality Management System (QMS), Environmental Management System (EMS) and Information Security Management System (ISMS). In my research I prepared a risk management requirement matrix, which can help the organisations to understand the relevant requirements of the three examined standards. The developed integrated risk assessment method allows the application of a common risk assessment table concerning the three standards.

An Analytical Solution for the Two-Layered Composite Beam-Column with Interlayer Slip and Constant Axial Load
14-31Views:90The authors present an analytical solution for the two-layered composite beams with imperfect shear connections. The considered beam is simply supported at both ends. The beam is subjected to transverse and axial loads. The kinematic assumptions of the Euler-Bernoulli beam theory are used. The connection of the beam components is perfect in normal direction, but the axial displacement field may have jump. The shear axial force derived from the imperfect connection is proportional to the relative slip occurring between the layers. The determination of the analytical solution is based on the Fourier method. Two examples illustrate the application of the presented analytical method.

The Role of Stocks in the Supply Chain
515-526Views:1153Az ellátási lánc teljesítményét nagymértékben befolyásolja a szereplők készleteinek összetétele, nagysága, rendelkezésre állása. A végső fogyasztókért vívott versenyben kiemelt szerepe van a kiszolgálási színvonalnak, hiszen az ellátási láncok ugyanazokért a fogyasztókért vívnak versenyt, és a fogyasztók döntése leginkább e két tényező, mint a készlet nagyága és a kiszolgálás minőségétől függ. A tanulmány a kkv-k logisztikai problémáit feltáró kutatás része, melynek célja rávilágítani a jellemző nehézségekre, és azokra a kihívásokra, amelyek legtöbbször elkerülik a logisztikai- vagy ellátási lánc vezetők figyelmét. A fejlődő kkv méretű vállalkozások versenyképessége - ami magába foglalja a költségek nagyságát is, kapcsolódva a K+F tevékenységhez vagy vállalat növekedéshez – a lekötött tőke mértékével arányosan változhat, melynek jelentős részét képezik a készletek. A kutatásban résztvevő vállalat, a Diego Kereskedelmi Kft. készletezési politikáján keresztül kerül elemzésre a készletek összetétele, illetve a velük kapcsolatos kockázatok, illetve félreértések. A tanulmány célja továbbá a helyes megoldások elősegítése, melyhez szorosan kapcsolódik (az itt tárgyalásra nem kerülő) Lean megoldások támogató szerepe.
