Leaders are required to develop the qualities according to the organizational culture and should be responsible to come forward to transform if necessary and implement the system. The organizational culture should fulfill the needs of the organization’s goals and the norms of the society. Both leadership and organizational culture are co-dependent on each other and should be understood together.

Use of ANSYS Software for the Acetabular Cup Structure Analysis out of the Hip Implant

In addition, using the ANSYS software for this purpose is well-known procedure to understand the real reaction of the hip implant parts during the daily life of the installed part. This study is to focus on the practical part of the use of ANSYS software to analyse the performance of the hip implant through the feature of structure analysis available in the ANSYS. The research applies the static loads behaviour only with the help of the static structural analysis to view the advantages and the disadvantages of every design, which helps us estimate the implant’s behaviour. The study investigates the optimization of the acetabular cup using the lattice optimization along with the infill option available in the ANSYS software in order to optimize the stress and the fixture of the cup inside the pelvis.

Statistical Evaluation of University Student’s Motivation and Personal Competency with Principal Component and Cluster Analysis
365-374Views:303The aim of the research is to do a statistical evaluation of agricultural and rural development engineer student’s motivation and personal competency. It sums up the late generation Y’s characteristics and challenges. To be a successful, graduated employee, not only the skill is needed but the personal competency as well. Altogether, 121 filled out questionnaires were collected from the students which were the prime source of the research. They had to evaluate influential factors to their motivation level and competence. The database was analyzed with descriptive statistic methods, principal component and cluster analysis. Studying the personal competency, five different factors were divided based on Belbin’s team roles and four clusters. The four clusters were established by the five factors. Analyzing the student’s educational motivation four different components were divided: the need of performance, social entertainment, the benefits of learning in the near future and the reach of the financial freedom. Based on the four components, generating clusters was not possible due to the significance level of the K-means cluster analysis because it was higher than 0,05 in every grouping variables.

Case Study of Unilever's Zero-Emission Target Realization
16-36Views:777This paper presents a detailed case study of Unilever’s strategy and progress toward achieving zero carbon emissions, focusing on Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions. The study analyzes a 10-year time series of both financial and non-financial data to assess the relationship between sustainability indicators, such as greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, total and renewable energy use, and the company’s operating profit. Forecasting techniques were applied to project future emission levels based on historical data, while correlation analysis was used to evaluate the relationships between key variables. The results show a strong positive correlation between total energy use and CO₂ emissions, highlighting the importance of energy efficiency in emission reduction efforts. However, no significant correlation was found between operating profit and CO₂ emissions or energy use, suggesting that sustainability initiatives have not yet had a measurable direct impact on profitability. Despite this, Unilever has demonstrated substantial progress toward its climate targets, including a 91% reduction in CO₂ emissions per ton of production (compared to a 2008 baseline) and the transition to 100% renewable electricity in many of its facilities. The study concludes that while sustainability measures may not immediately influence profit margins, they are essential for long-term competitiveness and corporate responsibility. This case provides valuable insights for firms aiming to integrate environmental performance into strategic decision-making.

Introduction to Design and Analysis of Torsional Vibration Dampers in Vehicle Industry
310-324Views:479The crankshaft of today’s internal combustion engines with high performance output are exposed to harmful torsional oscillations originated from the unbalanced gas and inertial forces. To avoid the fatigue damage of engine components, caused by the undesired vibrations, torsional vibration dampers can be applied. Viscodampers are one type of the torsional vibration dampers, which operational fluid is silicone oil. For cost-effective R&D activities and production, finite element and finite volume numerical discretization methods based calculation techniques must be involved into the engineering work supported by the modern computer technology. The aim of this paper is to provide an insight into the multidisciplinary design and development process of visco-dampers in vehicle industry applications. Four different examples as structural, fatigue, CFD analyses and structural optimization have been introduced in the present work. It turned out from the static structural and fatigue analyses, that the investigated damper has safety factor over the limit for both static structural and fatigue analyses, so it is suitable for the given load conditions. In the structural optimization process 34.36% mass reduction has been achieved. According to the coupled fluid dynamic and heat transfer simulations a rather stagnating air zone evolved between the engine and the damper during the operation, which can cause efficiency reduction of cooling fins mounted onto the housing. In light of the numerical results, the suitable damper position has been determined for the highest heat transfer.

Examining the Social Involvement of Sports Civic Organizations
23-34Views:284Analyzing the information available in the Hungarian database of the CSO, we can see that a significant part of the income of classical non-governmental organizations, especially non-governmental organizations with a sports profile, comes mainly from state or private support. In addition, it can be said that these organizations are essentially non-profit-oriented and play a significant role in social integration and the performance of essential social tasks. Therefore, the relevant question is to what extent and in what way their social embeddedness is realized, in what way do NGOs influence people in the course of their operation? Within this, the study of the social usefulness of sports non-governmental organizations and the sphere of support conditions in the sphere emerges as a priority area. In our study, we undertake to examine the activity of the organizations included in the survey, their social impact and to compare the results with their role in local society. Nearly 50% of the NGOs surveyed in the study have a local scope, and more than 50% typically engage in grassroots and leisure-related activities.

Effective integration of sustainability principles into companies requires action beyond the borders of organizations. The issue of sustainability is becoming more and more prominent in corporate governance. One of the most important area of supply chain management is for companies to gain a competitive edge in the market. This has a significant impact on the natural environment, and there is a growing need to integrate environmental thinking in supply chain management and processes, which is why companies are increasingly focusing on sustainable development, taking on more CSR initiatives and achieving a greener supply chain. Sustainable and green supply chain management practices have been developed over the past decades, trying to integrate environmental considerations into organizations by reducing unwanted negative consequences for the environment of production and consumption processes. In this article, I have examined the issues of sustainability and sustainable supply chain management, mainly based on descriptive secondary literature.

Students may – if explicit written consent of the lecturer is provided – get to know the opinion of their fellow students about each course, lecturers may receive feedback about the reputation of their courses, the University and Faculties may acquire information about the overall opinion of their students about the training. Feedback is basically suitable for supporting the work aimed at the improvement of training quality. In the scope of present study the reviews submitted by the students of the Controlling and performance specialisation within the Management and Organisation course are introduced.

Estimation of the Potential Runoff Quality Improvement as a Result of Applied Green Infrastructure Measures in a Hungarian Town
34-41Views:307Green infrastructure measures improves the quality of surface and subsurface waters along with increasing the water balance on the town level. The aim of the study is to estimate the potential runoff quality improvement by applying stormwater BMP-s along traffic roads in the town. This is of high priority in the aquifer protection area where runoff water may infiltrate into the aquifer carrying pollutants from the surface. Estimations are applied: first we determine the surface of traffic roads, then estimate the quantity of different kinds of pollutants accumulated on the surface and thirdly we estimate the expected performance of the applied green infrastructure elements based on findings in the literature. We determine the impervious urban surface area associated with transport-related functions within the protected drinking water recharge area using GIS technic using orthophotos. We estimate the expected reduction of runoff pollution assuming that stormwater BMP-s are applied in the area. The overall goal is to make the significance of diffuse pollution more obvious and enhance drinking water protection through taking diffuse pollution into consideration.

These challenges require radical changes and transformations in the lives of many organizations, which are difficult to achieve. The Alternative Use of Straw
331-343Views:222The problem addressed in this work is to examine the feasibility of using straw in innovative and alternative ways, focusing on aspects of cost sensitivity in subject areas of building investment and energy compsumption. I analysed the energy efficient performance of a straw bale building and compared that with those of a conventional construction, a newly-constracted building and a passive house. In my study I assessed the figures of costs of emboided energy, primary energy consumption and carbon dioxide emission. I made calculations in terms of energy costs for a lifespan of 50 years. Considering that straw-bale construction uses an excellent and sustainable insulation material, its energy use is by 25.38% less than that of conventional construction.

The Role Of Leader In Work Addiction
85-97Views:388Over-attachment to work is an increasingly common phenomenon in the lives of people in organisations, and can also be a condition of work addiction. Whoever becomes involved in an organisation, be it a subordinate or even a manager, work addiction has a number of negative consequences at both individual and organisational level. Without being exhaustive, work addiction can have an impact on organisational performance, organisational effectiveness, workplace conflict, career prospects, health maintenance. In this paper, we aim to highlight the most relevant publications from the last five years to report on the impact in an organisation when work addiction arises among subordinates or managers, and how different leadership styles are associated with work addiction among organisational members. The publications were retrieved from Google Scholar and Scopus, and the results of 19 articles are presented in this paper after a review of 263 papers retrieved. The results show that transformational, servant and ethical leadership styles have ambiguous effects on work addiction, unlike laissez-faire or abusive leadership styles, the former enhancing and the latter reducing the incidence of work addiction in an organisation. Work addiction of managers also has a dual effect: on the one hand, it can enhance creativity, but it can also increase turnover among subordinates. Social support from the manager can be an antidote to subordinates' work addiction, but this effect may be modified by the quantity and quality of interaction between manager and subordinate, the sense of meaningfulness of the work, or even the organisational culture. Overall, the manager, as a key actor, can have an impact on work addiction in the organisation, but there is not always a consistent position in the research on the cases and the way in which this is done, which calls for further research in the future.

Risks may arise throughout the entire project life cycle. Managing these and initial project planning uncertainties is an important task of Project Management. The study describes the application of traditional project management tools and methods in risk analysis, -evaluation and -treatment based on modern project and risk management standards and recommendations. The authors also examine the link between classic project management objectives (project time - resources – scopes) and risk-based decision-making. The different scale and scope of projects call for different responses to the associated risks. The study highlights the possible role of the ISO 31000 risk management standard package in project risk management. The authors analyse the risk management of the different projects on the basis of processing relevant literature, including the relationship of the project stakeholders to the risks. R&D, agile projects and project portfolios have specific and complex risk exposures, but their project management can provide several „hidden” risk analysis and - treatment functions.

The Correlation between LGBTQ Tolerance and Economic Development in Europe
31-51Views:484This study analyses the relationship between LGBTQ tolerance and economic development. It uses various indices measuring tolerance and economic data of 48 European countries. Based on previous literature I outlined how economic progress is supposed to have an impact on the social inclusion of marginalised groups. Also, a number of empirical reports are cited providing substantial evidence that tolerance can too shape economic performance. The main aim of this paper is to confirm that these findings in fact hold water in Europe. Having examined the regression analysis of GDP per capita and tolerance, as well as HDI and tolerance, I found that the modernisation theory proved valid on my sample. The other component of my analysis focusing on the sway of social inclusion over FDI showed that more tolerant states attract more foreign capital. These results led me to believe that economic progress and LGBTQ inclusion are interrelated, thus the latter should be considered upon forming policy.

With numerical calculations method, the computational model created by a Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) software could reduce a lot of trial and error on experimental work. In this paper utilizing the ANSYS FLUENT 19.1 software to make crate the combustion model. The ratio of air to fuel mixture, the equivalency factor, mass flow rate of the mixture, velocity, mass fractions of the mixture components (fuel and air) and their temperatures will serve as the input parameter while the exhaust gase component mass fraction, temperature, mass flow and velocity will be monitored.

The Role of Employee Participation and Resistance in the Success of Change Management
22-30Views:623Successful change in the lives of organizations has played a particularly important role in the recent turbulently changing decades, and leadership-follower relationships need to be addressed in order to maintain performance. Participation should be ensured for members of the organization and emerging resistance should be addressed. The subject of my research was to examine whether the assessment of the success of change is influenced by the provision of opportunities for employees to make suggestions and their opposition to change. By performing chi-square tests, I came to the conclusion that if the opinion of the worker is heard, they are more likely to judge the change to be successful, however, the manager is not affected by the involvement of the employees in this. However, there is a correlation between employees' resentment to change and the success of change, both from the employee and managerial side, change is more unsuccessful if resentment develops. Based on the results, both factors are important. It is worth drawing the attention of managers to the need to ensure participation, as failure to do so can lead to dissatisfaction among employees, which can also have a negative impact on the success of the organization.

Role of Grants for Tourism Purposes in Development of the Northern Great Plain Region

Based on the data, it can be concluded the region received significant grants during the years 2007-2013; it is in last place in view of the economic development but has achieved better performance in several areas. It is difficult to examine the accommodation and food service national economic sector independently: in one respect, it develops by the combined impact of several other areas, on the other hand, the tourism-related developments become usable for other sectors as well, new enterprises and investments are launched, at the same time, not only the companies’ but the municipalities’ revenues from tourism are increasing. Based on the statistical data, attention will be drawn to the fact that the outcome of developments is just moderate in the area of catering and tourism in the region and has a different rate by county.

Tribological Behaviour Comparison of ABS Polymer Manufactured Using Turning and 3D Printing

Evaluation of the Factors Defining the Relationship Quality in Respect of the Customer-Supplier Cooperation

Besides the fact that the researches in the topic of business relationship marks the quality of the as the crucial element of effective cooperation, still it can be identified as an unidentified area knowing that there is no agreement in the defining dimension. In the center in this dissertation are the dyadic business relationships. The main aim is to support the hypothesis that trust, dependence, conflict and personal relationship between the members of the supply chain are the crucial elements of the cooperation of the members of the chain and by that, they can be the defining elements of the relationship quality .As the results of my Primer research, I describe and reveal the previously mentioned dimensioned relevant for the customer and suppliers relationships in the microbusinesses producing fruits for the national, fresh market, how the good business relationship contributes to the company to reach its main goals and increase its competitiveness on the market. Based on my research, it can be stated that trust, dependence, conflict and personal relationship are the defining factors of relationship quality, moreover my results prove the fact that relationship quality contributes to the increase of the performance of the contributors.
