The Correlation between LGBTQ Tolerance and Economic Development in Europe
31-51Views:457This study analyses the relationship between LGBTQ tolerance and economic development. It uses various indices measuring tolerance and economic data of 48 European countries. Based on previous literature I outlined how economic progress is supposed to have an impact on the social inclusion of marginalised groups. Also, a number of empirical reports are cited providing substantial evidence that tolerance can too shape economic performance. The main aim of this paper is to confirm that these findings in fact hold water in Europe. Having examined the regression analysis of GDP per capita and tolerance, as well as HDI and tolerance, I found that the modernisation theory proved valid on my sample. The other component of my analysis focusing on the sway of social inclusion over FDI showed that more tolerant states attract more foreign capital. These results led me to believe that economic progress and LGBTQ inclusion are interrelated, thus the latter should be considered upon forming policy.

We were looking for answers, that how university students, who participated in our current research are thinking about the hungarian countryside, in their opinion what are it’s advantages and disadvantages and it’s possible potentials. In addition, we examined those factors, which are contributing to that respondents who are studying in large cities want to stay there, but at the same time we wanted to explore the opposite factors, those that make tudents to return to the countryside. Last, but not least we investigated a very interesting topic, the relations between the respondents and the rural elite.

Cybersecurity Challenges in Agricultural Digitalization: A Systematic Review with Python-Based Analysis
33-47Views:284The intersection of agriculture and cybersecurity has become a prominent research focus in recent years, driven by the rapid adoption of IoT (Internet of Things) and precision farming technologies. These technological innovations have revolutionized agricultural processes, enhancing efficiency and sustainability while introducing significant security risks. This study conducts a systematic literature review (SLR) to address key cybersecurity issues in agriculture, with a particular emphasis on IoT vulnerabilities and threats. Using Python-based text analysis techniques, the research automated the analysis of abstracts and full texts, enabling rapid filtering and thematic categorization of relevant studies. From an initial pool of 1,039 publications, 40 relevant studies were identified based on rigorous screening criteria. The thematic analysis revealed that 44.9% of the publications focus on IoT device vulnerabilities, 32.7% on agricultural cybersecurity challenges, and 22.4% on the security issues of Agriculture 4.0 and precision farming. Methodological analysis indicated that machine learning, simulation models, and case studies dominate the research landscape, while surveys and experimental studies appear less frequently. The findings highlight the critical importance of developing robust cybersecurity strategies and technologies in the agricultural sector, particularly to mitigate the risks posed by IoT devices.

The Individual, Education or Work Environment Influences the Quality of Graduates’ Employment?
244-260Views:260In this paper I examine what has an effect on the quality of the graduated students’ employment. The quality is measured by the the discrepancy between the educational attainment of workers and the educational requirements of their job. On the base of this I can distinguish matching and overeducated workers. The latter category can be divided into two other groups, so called genuinely overeducated, who are not satisfied with their mismatch, and apparently overeducated, who are satisfied with their mismatch. Using multinomial logit model I try to identify those individual, educational and workplace’s characteristics that influence being matching, apparently, or genuinely overeducated using the database of students graduated in 2007 and 2009 in the University of Debrecen. I try to test those factors that were determined in the literature like mobility and commuting propensity, market rigidity, career mobility, job tenure.

Organisational Culure and Academic Performance of Technical Management BSc Students
1-11Views:224Our study analyses the connection between perceived and ideal organizational cultures and academic results. A modified, self-managed OCAI questionnaire was used to measure perceived and ideal organizational cultures among engineering management students of the University of Debrecen Faculty of Engineering (N = 114). Our results reveal weak positive linear correlations between academic performance and perceived or ideal level of clan culture. In case of other culture types we did not find any consistent relationship. Based on our results students who consider clan culture ideal can expect better results than those who prefer other types. Among students who visit at least 61% of the classes those who reported fitting (or better fitting) perceived and ideal cultures tend to perform better in their studies.

The presence of stress and leisure sports in the life of today’s people
74-86Views:881Today's people are extremely busy with a lot of things, such as work, family, learning, so they try to spend their free time with activities that promote them in relaxation, reassurance, recreation. It can be said that the people of today's world are burdened, more stressed and nervous, trying to do the best they can to live properly. A lot of people have a hard time communicating, community life. There are a lot of people who are forced to work from home, as projects and weeks' deadlines don't wait. Besides, there are many things to be done, children need to be dealt with, you have to have fun, you have to pay attention to health, you have to run a household, etc., so there is little time for people to do what they really love. In my research, I assessed the leisure habits of the inhabitants of Romania and Hungary, but their attitude to active reclamation activities (N=273) was their activity in sport. The results show that passive leisure activities (watching TV, reading, listening to music, internet) are still the most popular among people, although most of us do sedentary work. People who play sports in their spare time felt more refreshed, and they had a better mood, more positive. The sports that people can play outdoors and in parks come to the fore.

The Effect of Player Transfers on Football Companies Valuation
Views:408Transfer seasons are one of the most highlighted periods in world of football. The market of player rights forces the greatest european clubs with their enormous budgets to compete with each other in order to aquire the most talented and most succesful players. It is not uncommon to sign players for tens of millions of euros, to this extent these expenditures are seriously affecting clubs bottom line. However, despite the expenditure nature of player transfers the value of these clubs increase, based on the best known measurer for companies valuation: the stock exchange. In my research the effect of player transfers ont he valuation of football corporations are presented through market value development of stock market listed clubs namely Juventus and BVB Dortmund. Based on my results if the examined clubs were signing players according to a player transfer policy considered as succesful the value of examined clubs had increased through stock market price independently of player transfer balance. Moreover the effect of coronavirus could had been noticed, since both clubs valuation decreased heavily in the 2020 summer transfer window probably due to the revenue loss caused by the pandemic.

Examination of macro- and micro elements in the artificial bathwater samples

Previous studies, which were conducted at the Department of Environmental Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Debrecen, proved that the quality of domestic greywater is greatly varied. This diversity can also be observed in the case of greywaters. The examination of bathwater samples covered the contentanalysis of Al, Ba, Cd, Cr, Cu, Fe, Mn, Ni, Pb, Sr, Zn, Ca, K, Mg, Na, Li elements with the application of MP-AES method. The analysis of greywater’s micro and macro content is essential part in the control of irrigation systems, flushing as well as car washing, because its heavy metal content can have a significant effect on the environment. In this study, we would like to present the concentration values of micro and macro elements of the examined greywater samples. Furthermore, we would like to make a comparison among our result, previously examined greywater samples and drinking water samples, too.

The Role of Logistics Management in Public Services – Research Plan

Strategic Role of Environmental Factors in the Operation of a Manufacturing Company: A Synthesis of Three Analytical Models

The relevance of this study lies in the context of global economic instability, rapid technological advancement, and intensifying market competition, all of which present new challenges for organizations. The aim of the research is to demonstrate how the analysis of environmental factors can support strategic decision-making, with particular emphasis on a specific company case. The analysis was based on three established methods—PESTEL analysis, Porter’s Five Forces model, and the SWOT framework—which together enabled an integrated examination of macro- and micro-environmental factors as well as internal resources. The results highlighted several key strengths of the company, such as professional expertise, international presence, and the quality of customer relationships, while also identifying several areas in need of improvement, particularly in terms of pricing strategy, digital information accessibility, and internal communication. The novelty of the study lies in the combined application of the three analytical tools, which revealed interrelated insights and served as the basis for well-founded recommendations aimed at enhancing strategic flexibility and strengthening competitiveness.

Modern Applications of Aluminium Foams

Application of closed cell aluminium foam has made an impact in automobile and aerospace applications where crash energy absorption, vibration and weight reduction are obligatory [1,2,3]. The aluminium alloy foam is an advanced lightweight material providing high strength and stiffness at relatively low density. The technological use of aluminium alloy foam is difficult with the currently available technologies. In the case of open cell aluminium foams, the most common research areas for application are heat exchanger components, filters and sound damping elements [3]. The manuscript focuses on the manufacturing techniques of the aluminium alloy foams according to the application areas. First step is the investigation of the requirements for the application: what are the loads and the circumstances and why can we use aluminium foams. Second step is the knowledge of the producing methods of the foam or the component. And the last step is the investigation of the possible testing methods.

Forces Attributed to Dark Matter May Originate from Entangled Particles as Seen in the Shape Of Galaxies Formed by Grbs
23-32Views:226Recently, it has been suggested that entangled particles may be connected by a wormhole. If that is right, what is the distance between them we have to take into account when applying Newton's law of universal gravitation to these particles? We propose the idea that these particles may attract each other regardless of distance, resulting in a force that behaves exactly the same way as the force derived from presumed dark matter. Traces of such a force seem to be present in galaxies due to gamma ray bursts (GRBs) that produce entangled particles which hit various objects. We can observe that in barred spiral galaxies the arms always pass through the nucleus of the galaxy so we believe that the very first GRB happened at the central supermassive black hole (SMBH) and the arms are the traces of this ancient GRB. If we see an unbarred spiral galaxy, we can be certain that the arms do not pass through the core and we think the very first GRB happened close to the core. Ring galaxies may also be considered as a type of spiral galaxies, since there is a section where the ring is broken, i.e. where the arms do not meet. So the very first GRB happened far from the core. Elliptical galaxies may have resulted from an ancient GRB which hit from outside. The arms rotating in opposite directions of the NGC4622 galaxy support our hypothesis. Finally in the silk threads of the spider web of the universe, the traces of GRBs can be seen.

Vehicle dynamics modelling of an electric driven race car

Future Power Plant Portfolio Analysis from the Point of View of Minimum Cost and Emission Optimization
61-77Views:185The article examines the expected composition of the power plant portfolio in Hungary by 2030. The indicators considered are the life-cycle unit costs (LCOE) and the life-cycle specific carbon dioxide emissions (LCA(CO2)) of the power plant types. The minimum of these two indicators, as objective functions, is determined by a linear programming method for the power plant portfolio. The results show that the LCOE minimum for the power plant portfolios in 2030 is worse in absolute terms and better in specific terms than in 2021. In both absolute and specific terms, the LCA(CO2) minimum is more favourable in 2021. These results are met under the thirty and twenty-five percent electricity import scenarios. With twenty percent imports, the absolute values are worse and the specific values are better for both indicators. On the other hand, the results of the calculations for 2030 fall short of the 2030 Agenda of the Institute for a Green Transition. This is due to the delay in commissioning a new nuclear power plant and the transformation of industry with increasing electricity demand. For the portfolios under review, a minimum of thirty percent of domestic generation from renewable sources is met. This contributes significantly to the European Union's ambition for the sector to be net greenhouse gas-free by 2050.

Transformation of the Decisional Leadership Role

Decision-making is always the responsibility of the leader, but in a changing world, it becomes an even more crucial factor for success. Making good decisions requires time, experience, and thorough problem-solving skills. In my research, through the analysis of scholarly sources, I have identified several role factors that clearly influence the decision-making process and its implementation. Furthermore, I have developed a self-designed questionnaire to examine the decision-making role in modern organizations. I analyzed the data from 230 respondents using various statistical methods. Based on my findings, conflict management, risk-taking, and a thorough understanding of the problem strongly determine leadership decision-making processes. The ability of leaders to effectively manage conflicts significantly impacts their decisions. Risk-taking is also of key importance, as leaders need to recognize the risks associated with a given situation and make decisions accordingly.

We can learn in detail about the sub-processes, such as: types of clothing collection, sourcing, warehousing, selection, disassembly, processing, receipt of goods and sales. The aim of the study is to make the processes more transparent for everyone.
