Journal History

Teaching Mathematics and Computer Science was founded in 2001 by Judita Cofman. Following her preparatory work, the first issue appeared in 2003.

The journal was published between 2003-2016 by the University of Debrecen, and since 2017 by the Doctoral School of Informatics and the Doctoral School of Mathematics and Computer Science of the University of Debrecen.

In 2019 Teaching Mathematics and Computer Science went through a model change and became Open Access.
The journal's website has been renewed and moved to the OJS platform of the University of Debrecen, while beginning with 2023, TMCS switched from "print+online" to "online only" publishing.
