Absztrakt

A 2020-as évek elején az Egyesült Államok több nagy állami befektetési-támogatási programja, majd az orosz-ukrán háború következményeként az energiaárak megugrása keltett aggodalmat Európában. A cikk az Európai Unió versenyképesség-gyengülésének utóbbi okai közül ezt a két elemet vizsgálja, kiemelten az amerikai inflációcsökkentő törvény (Inflation Reduction Act, IRA) hatását, a beruházások eltérítésére összpontosítva. A dolgozat az IRA kezdeti következményeinek és néhány vállalati magatartásmintának az elemzése alapján arra a következtetésre jut, hogy a politikai bizonytalansággal is terhelt közegben a cégek és a beruházások áttelepítése Amerikába egyelőre nem tömeges jelenség, de az új helyzet új koherens stratégiák kialakítására késztetheti Európát.
