  Reflexiómmal nem az volt a célom, hogy bárkit is megbántva vonjam kétségbe az írásomban említett szerzők véleményét, vagy hogy pálcát törve tegyem le a garast bármelyikük mellett is. Sokkal inkább szerettem volna megmutatni, hogy a csendes tömegben lévő szakemberek is vívódnak saját szakmai fejlődésük helyes irányával, annak mélységével és milyenségével. Ha nem is látják és tudják mindenre a választ, de gondolkodnak, éreznek, akarnak és a maguk módján és képességük szerint tesznek is. Napról napra próbálva függetlenül attól, hogyan áll munkájukhoz szűkebb és tágabb értelemben vett környezetük.

  Ifjúsági munkások szakmai életútját bemutató interjúsorozatunk harmadik darabja Katona Máriával készült, aki Békéscsabán és Debrecenben dolgozott ifjúsági munkásként. Közművelődési diplomával lépett a szakmába 1980-ban. Első két munkahelyén KISZ-klubot vezetett, bár ő maga már a főiskolán kilépett a Kommunista Ifjúsági Szövetségből. A Kossuth Egyetem Közművelődési Titkárságán végzett munkájából már nem a művelődésszervezést, hanem a közösségek támogatását látja elsődlegesnek. Már első munkahelyén kapcsolatba lépett a közösségszervezők körével. Élete két szakaszában is formálója volt az ifjúságpolitikának. Előbb a rendszerváltást megelőző években, amikor a megyei tanács ifjúsági osztálya két munkatársa egyikeként részese volt az ifjúsággal kapcsolatos állami szerepek keresésének, megyei nemzetközi kapcsolatok megteremtésének. Másodszor pedig 2000–2013 között, amikor az Észak-alföldi Regionális Ifjúsági Szolgáltató Iroda vezetőjeként a Regionális Ifjúsági Tanács titkáraként is dolgozott, javaslattevői és megvalósítói feladatkörökkel. Mindkét esetben központi költségvetési forrás adott játékteret. Katona Máriának szerepe volt abban, hogy a régióban egyedi kezdeményezések is megvalósultak. Amikor 2013-ban felszámolták a regionális ifjúsági szolgáltató irodákat, a Nemzeti Művelődési Intézet megyei módszertani munkatársa lett. A segítő szakmák indulása idején tagja volt a humán szolgáltatások megteremtésén dolgozó körnek, de soha nem gondolta, hogy a szociális munkára cserélné az ifjúsági munkát.

  The objective of the study is to investigate the integration of social work students in the labour market in order to develop social work BA-level education. The research is based on a quantitative questionnaire completed by a number of 196 University-graduate respondents. The data collection was carried out in three institutions: Partium Christian University, University of Pécs, and University of Debrecen. According to the results, most experts consider themselves well prepared, but they have some shortcomings in their skills such as knowledge of foreign languages, financial literacy, project management, application writing, research methodology and understanding social processes. University education should focus more on these areas. Most of the professionals are satisfied with their education, but the proportion of the average evaluators is also high. It was found that the relationship between the knowledge acquired in the university is not significantly related to job satisfaction, and certain skills can be retrofitted during work practice.

  The topic was the problem map of the projects for catch-up in the 2014-2020 period, based on the literature related to segregation phenomena, the analysis of related documents and interviews with social workers working in the field.

  The main problem areas that emerged during the research were: the use of concepts related to segregation, the delimitation and selection of segregation, and the various difficulties of project format implementation. Further, detailed research on the phenomena would be important, the phenomena related to segregation can be considered an important social problem for decades and understanding the difficulties can be a key element of successful interventions.

  A tanulmány a szerző által 2016–2017-ben lefolytatott kutatás során nyert tapasztalatokon alapul. A vizsgálat célja az volt, hogy feltérképezze a 2016-os jogszabályi változás eredményeként kialakuló esetmenedzseri rendszer működésének sajátosságait, a jogszabályváltozás közvetlenül érzékelhető következményeit. Az esetmenedzserek konfliktusos helyzete és szerepe mellett láthatóvá vált a gyermeknevelési problémákkal küszködő családok magára maradottsága, az értük dolgozó szakemberek helyzetének tisztázatlansága. A tanulmány két esetismertetéssel illusztrálja a gyermekjóléti rendszer sérülékenységét, a kliensek és a szakemberek kiszolgáltatottságát, a beavatkozások esetlegességét.

  „A képessé tétel nem recept a társadalmi elnyomás és igazságtalanság, a hatalomnélküliség problémáira, de mint látásmód, eszköz és módszer lehetőséget biztosít önmagunkkal és másokkal egy demokratikusabb és bizalomteljesebb kapcsolat kialakítására, és mint ilyen, új utakat nyithat meg, új megoldások keresésére sarkallhat, miközben újra felfedezhetjük saját tudásunkat és közösségünk erejét, erőforrásait.” (Lakatos 2009)
  
  Tanulmányomban a 2016. januárban bevezetett gyermekvédelmi törvény módosítása eredményeként beléptetett esetmenedzserek szerepére, a gyermekjóléti szolgálatok munkájára irányuló kutatás részeredményeit ismertetem. A vizsgálatban azt kívántam feltárni, hogy az esetmenedzserek valóban segítik-e a gyermeknevelési problémákkal küszködő családok szolgáltatásokhoz való hozzáférésének a hatékonyságát. Mindezek mellett – korábbi vizsgálataimhoz hasonlóan – újra arra irányítottam az adatfelvételt, hogy a szociális szakemberek (szociális munkások, szociálpedagógusok) milyen módszertani felkészültséggel végzik a munkájukat, döntéseik meghozatalában milyen szempontok érvényesülnek.
  
  Két esetleírás segítségével írok arról, hogy a szakemberek mennyire képesek a szociális munka egyik központi elvének tekintett empowerment céljához igazítani mindennapi tevékenységeiket: képesek-e a gyakran deprofesszionalizált keretek között a professzionális segítségnyújtásra, képesek-e a társadalmi távolságok csökkentésére, saját kognitív konstruktumaik felülírására? Mi a jellemző a gyermekjóléti szolgálatok munkájában: a bürokratikus, redukált tartalmú segítségnyújtás, mely kiszolgálja a fennálló hatalmi rendszert vagy a kliensek társadalmi integrációját támogató empatikus viszonyulás?

  The investigation of social resources that facilitate problem-solving plays a major role in the understanding of internal client migration. This study deals primarily with the investigation of family- and social network in the broader sense by examining the risk factors of the given field. The quality of relationships determine quality of life in general. The intensity, depth and content of these relationships are all important resources in the personal life of the client. Besides these personal relationships, professional supporting relationships that help improve or maintain quality of life play a dominant role in the life of migrating clients. A further aim of the study is to review the literature and methodology of case diagnostics in the field of practice of individual and family-level case work. Thereby, we can interpret the system of lack of resources related to internal client migration and thus we can relocate the focus points of complex supporting work.

  As a social worker I have been working with people with mental illness for nearly a decade. I sought out to link guaranteed basic income in this social group with general life circumstances, employment opportunities, social services and social work. I discuss guaranteed basic income as a social worker and not on the basis of published literature or calculations. I do not write in the usual way – by listing the well known pro and contra arguments. I am examining how guaranteed basic income could potentially improve the life of a disadvantaged social group – in this case people with mental illness.

   

  In this study, I write whether the guaranteed basic income as an utopian idea is able to stir up stigmas. I am going to illustrate the main characteristics of people with psychiatric illness, their social perception, their chances of employment and their financial benefits by presenting four cases. Then, in the second part, I summarize the concepts and elements of guaranteed basic income and the possible consequences of introducing guaranteed basic income for people with psychiatric illness. Furthermore, I examine the issues around guaranteed basic income and services, and the role of social work as well.

  The research to reveal the drug use habits of children and young people living in the social periphery was conducted in Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg County in 2017. The target group of the research included 14–25-year-old young people living in slums and in child-protection service.
  The aim of the study was to reveal the drug use habits and the risk behaviours of children and adolescents living in the periphery of the society. The study tries to find explanations to the risk factors of drug consumption of young people living in child-protection.
  The characteristics of anomie in the target population is used to study the effects of drug consumption. The paper looks for answers to resilience from the available data and additionally it highlights the protective and risk factors that influence the development of substance use in the target group.
  The results and conclusions from this research coupled with related international and Hungarian research are presented in this study.

  The study was carried out in Nyíregyháza Family and Child Welfare Centre with clients. I thought that those families who are in connection with the organization, supporting less connected, as those families who do not use the service. In the study, the characteristics of the social support system is described in terms of social work, and I discuss the confidential relationship between the child's parents is the importance of the inclusion of the questionnaire was applied to five name-generator situations. The method reveals that in some cases, who are the persons who rely on the people, or is there any person on whom they can rely on. I examined two generations, parents and children during my research. First of all I took into account the age of the children, aged 11 to 18 years covered in the study population. I think that would be the tools of social work to expand the use of the name generator method.

• Trauma és társadalmi szenvedés – szociális munka a késő modernitásban

  The article aims at complementing the phenomenological analyses of trauma from a sociological point of view. Trauma is considered to be an impression, which cannot be integrated to the subject’s identity in a coherent manner. Such irreconcilable impressions could originate not only from individual life events, but also social dysfunctions. In order to map these dysfunctions classic and contemporary social theories are called upon: with their help those modern social sufferings are overviewed, which threaten with the emergence of traumatic experiences. The three thematic focus points of the article (in parallel with the dysfunctions identified by classical sociology) are anomie, reification and loss of meaning. In the fourth section of the article those forms of sociability are highlighted, which hold the potential of providing answers to the challenges of modernization: the emancipatory bourgeoisie public sphere and the intimacy as mutual disclosure. Finally, based on these conclusions a critical-network social work is highlighted.

  The article examines the existence of the famous slum in the city centre, the functions of it in the local social policy from the viewpoint of an NGO field worker. Gans’ functionalist method and the wilder context may explain the fact that there is no plan for the liquidation of the settlement since two years, although the money is given. The article analyses how became the stigma of the slum useful by the media, art, charity actions through political aims and how this special situation reinforced by the COVID–19.
