THE OXIPO GAME COLLECTION FOR DEVELOPING COGNITIVE ABILITIES
63-73Views:1331This study is a presentation of the first phase of a complex research project which aims to present the theoretical background of a new game collection (based on OxIPO model). We have compiled a game collection to improve cognitive abilities in early childhood. Concerning cognitive abilities, Affolter's (1972), Sindelar's (1994) and others' earlier developmental approaches took into account visual, auditive or motoric (inter) modalities of perception, however, we believe we need a more complex model to cover the full capability. Within the framework of the OxIPO model (Mező, 2002, 2016), learning is interpreted as an information processing process. In the OxIPO model (Field, 2002, 2016), Learning = Organization x (Input + Process + Output) allows us to control and systemize not only the input modalities but also the output modalities and also to interpret some cognitive abilities in the process phase. We have created a game-collection based on six input (visual, auditive, kinesthetic, olfactory, gustatory, and tactile) modalities and five cognitive abilities (perception, attention, memory, conceptual thinking, problem-solving thinking) and three output (visual, auditive, motoric) modalities. The outcome of the six input modalities and the five target abilities and the three output modalities there are 90 different games that can be described by the OxIPO model. In the future, we would like to prove with empirical studies that this game collection can be used for testing and developing 90 independent cognitive abilities. On the other hand, we need to prove that these cognitive abilities indeed influence the daily lives of children and their effectiveness.

ANALYSIS OF FACTORS INFLUENCING PHYSICAL ACTIVITY AMONG THE POPULATION OF HAJDÚBÖSZÖRMÉNY OVER 65 YEARS OF AGE
67-76Views:226The importance of physical activity is increasingly recognized by many people, both laymen, and professionals. Regular exercise at all ages contributes to strengthening the different dimensions of health. Ideally, physical activity is integrated into our lives from an early age, however, based on public health indicators, unfortunately, the opposite trend is to be seen in Hungary. One of the most striking features of demographic processes is the continuous increase in the number and proportion of the elderly population. In an ageing society, it is crucial to maintain good health conditions for people over 65 for the following reasons: to improve the quality of life of the individual, to reduce health expenditures, and because of the inevitably increased number of elderly in the labour market. National demographic changes are just as characteristic in Hajdúböszörmény, so it is worth examining the components of the physical activity of the local population. The aim of our research is to explore the characteristics of exercising related to work, transport, household work, and leisure sports. Unfortunately, as well as the amount, the quality of the population’s time spent exercising is below international recommendations. Mapping the exercising motives of the elderly confirmed our assumption that the preservation of physical and mental health is the main drive behind the activity of the target group.

CONCURRENT VALIDITY OF MEASURING AND ESTIMATING METHODS OF THE ORIGINALITY
27-38Views:449In this study, we focus on the methodological problems of measurement and estimation of originality. In the first part, we introduce some score systems which are applied by creativity tests, and we highlight the possibilities and the dangerous sides of estimation scales of originality. The second part of this study shows a concurrent validity examination (n=127). Applied tests and variables are originality indexes of the Tóth’s Estimation Scale of Creativity (TKBS) and the Unusual uses and the Circles tests. Results: about r = 0,2 significant (p≤0,05) correlations were among the originality scores – it is not enough from the aspect of concurrent validation.

ABILITY DEVELOPMENT GAMES FROM ASPECTS OF IPOO-MODELL: THE POSSIBILITY OF DIAGNOSTICS INTEGRATED IN DEVELOPMENT
55-66Views:1551According to Mező's IPOO-model of learning, learning is a kind of information processing, which has got four different, but a related component. These components are input, process, output, and organization. This model is useable to analyzing and to diagnostic and to develop a wide range of learning phenomenons (from personality development to the development of learning strategies and abilities). The present study gives a short summarize of possibilities of ability diagnostics and development in the theoretical frame of the IPOO-model.

FACTORS SUPPORTING HIGHER EDUCATION OF PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES IN THE LIGHT OF A RESEARCH
85-99Views:258Compared to other social groups, persons with disabilities are at higher risk of poverty. One of the reasons for this can be explained by the labour market situation of people with disabilities, as their employment is extremely low, their livelihood is primarily ensured by social benefits. One of the main guarantees of achieving an adequate standard of living is income from work. The higher qualifications the employee has, the higher the chance is to have a job that suits his/her interests and abilities. However, persons with disabilities tend to have lower educational qualifications than members of the majority of society, and their higher education is particularly low. In order to achieve equal opportunities, persons with disabilities may take advantage of allowances and subsidies in the course of their higher education as well as their studies. Using qualitative, semi-structured interviews, the research explores how services promoting equal opportunities at universities facilitate the higher education of students with disabilities, support their job search and their integration into the labour market. The research also comprised the examination of how the family background or previous (primary and secondary school) studies influenced the higher education of the interviewees. Based on the research results, it can be stated that promoting equal opportunities at universities contributes to the successful completion of studies as well as participation in the labour market eventually. The family, the parents, studying in an integrated framework play a crucial role in the decision of a student with disabilities to continue his/her studies at university.

DOCTORS MEETING PATIENTS WITH DISABILITIES
99-111Views:151The paper explores a topic that affects everyday life: the encounter between doctors and patients with disabilities. The aim of the research was to find out how doctors and medical students think about disability, people with disabilities, and their encounters with them, in the course of their work. Despite the fact that age, the number of years spent in practice, and the areas of specialisation of the 10 interviewees present varied pictures they express many similar opinions in their responses. The responses point out that during their university years, they had heard little about the different aspects of disabilities in theoretical classes and during their practice so they really only had everyday knowledge and stereotypes about their disabled patients. The question arises: can doctors with a high social prestige set a positive example to the rest of society when it comes to the treatment of people with disabilities? The question then goes on to raise the need for a wider study, which should include other health professionals.

THE "INSTITUTIONALIZATION" OF THE LOVARI LANGUAGE FROM THE ASPECT OF SOCIAL INNOVATION
85-93Views:118In this current paper we intend to reflect upon the historicity and social impact of Lovari language education from the perspective of social innovation. Our starting point is that the process of the acceptance of the Lovari language and its recognition in the educational palette of foreign languages is a „bottom-up” initiative that developed mainly from the work of Romani intellectuals. The focus of our interest is, among others, the following questions: Who invented it? Who supported it? Who prevented it? What language learning methods are used by people teaching Lovari language who are originally not language teachers? The „institutionalization” of language education in Lovari and the state-recognized language exam certificate that can be obtained in this language have a serious social impact, for example, it helped disadvantaged and/or Roma students to obtain a university degree. From this point of view, we also consider this phenomenon as an innovation. Besides the secondary sources, we tend to map the topic with the help of primary, qualitative data. In addition to interviews with Lovari language teachers (N=3) who have been teaching for several decades, we would like to put our own perceptions in a narrative.

Ethical Leadership in Cross-Culture
23-33Views:188The existing ethical leadership literature reflects a Western-based private sector perspective, implying a compliance-oriented view of ethical leadership. Developing a more comprehensive understanding of how ethical leadership is viewed in the Western and Eastern cultural clusters, as well as the private and public sectors, is crucial because today's leaders must lead ethically across cultures and sectors more and more. Addressing this issue, the present study explores how employees from Eastern cultures define ethical leadership and which characteristics they associate with ethical leaders. A qualitative study was conducted through interviews this study conducted 10 confidential individual interviews with leaders and employees in a public organization in Jordan. The findings indicate that while there may be similarities with Western perspectives on ethical leadership such as honesty; respect, fairness, and justice, there are also distinct characteristics and priorities that reflect the unique socio-cultural context of the region like religiosity, accountability, responsibility, and trustworthiness.

THE SHAPING OF PSYCHOMETRIC CREATIVITY AMONGST SECONDAY GRAMMAR SCHOOL STUDENTS IN A FOUR YEAR LONGITUDINAL STUDY
41-53Views:161In this study, we analyze the test-retest reliability of psychometric creativity tests and their connection with intelligence. Sample: n =107 (males: 66; females: 41) secondary grammar school students. Method: in the year 2011 we applied the verbal Unusual Uses and the figural Circles creativity tests, and (as an additional test) the APM intelligence test, and we repeated these examinations in 2014. Results: there are moderate correlations between pre-and posttests (after four years) in the cases of creativity tests (rs = 0,30-0,51) and intelligence test (r = 0,53), too. The students with higher pre-test scores will probably have higher score differences between pre- and post-test than the students with lower pre-test scores (rs = 0,28-0,57).

MUSEUM PEDAGOGICAL WORKSHOP IN THE LIGHT OF THE IPOO-MODEL
27-35Views:145With the spread of the visitor-friendly museum approach the professionals of the museum strive to address a visitor layer as wide as possible. It requires the professional interpretation of exhibitions for different ages. Thus, both the role of museum pedagogues and the museums as non-formal education space are appreciated increasingly. However, the nature of an exhibition also may be influenced in certain cases by the structure of the exhibition space. The Literature House of Debrecen is a long straight space divided into five smaller units, in which the permanent literature exhibition of Dreaming Hungarians can be found. The periodical exhibition with the title of ’REJTŐzködő Irodalom’ appeared in this space in a scattered way. The character of the exhibition space provided an excellent possibility for a mosaic layout and in this way for a gamified museum pedagogical activity. In our study, this method is examined in the light of the IPOO-model. The aim of the method is how to make the learning more efficient and it can also be used in an excellent way in the non-formal education environment where learning covers the presence of pieces of information conveyed by the exhibition.
