Innovative IT solutions in health and sport - the importance of wearable devices, Internet of Things, artificial intelligence and Big Data
87-114Views:248Healthcare faces a significant shortage of human and financial resources. One way to overcome this is to focus on preventive medicine, through the promotion of sport and the use of advanced IT (Information Technology) tools in healthcare. These tools include wearables, the IoT (Internet of Things), Big Data and AI (artificial intelligence). This narrative review article aims to present the current state of the art in the field to support the processing of literature at the beginning of new researches by reviewing the major literature focusing on three of the data management’s functions: data collection, storing and processing. To quantify the studies, queries were run on ScienceDirect, PubMed, Web of Science, Google Scholar databases. The keywords used in the queries were "Internet of Things", "Big Data", "Artificial intelligence" and "Wearable devices" complemented by the terms "health" and "sports" so a total of 8 queries were run on each database. We selected only scientific articles which contain concrete results, present ICT tools used in health or sport, and were fully available from our institution's network so we examined 35 articles. The results of the queries show that in most cases more than 50% of the literature was published since 2019, so the topic is currently a highly researched area. On average, 59.57% of all published works were published from 2019 in Science Direct, 74.49% in PubMed and 77.18% in Web of Science. The above-mentioned IT tools on health and sport is significant. Their importance is most notable in the advancement of preventive medicine and innovation in medical research.

A sport, mint a depresszióval szembeni védőfaktor
5-17Views:1736The study examines the relationship between sport and depression among athletes in leisure and competition. A total of 436 people completed a questionnaire measuring the factors examined (Beck-Depression Questionnaire Abbreviated Version), of which 139 responders were leisure time athletes and 297 professional athletes. The aim of my study was to map out whether sport appeared as a protective factor for young people engaged in leisure sports, and whether the protective effect of sport on competitive athletes could prevail over the various symptoms of depression. Furthermore, whether there is a correlation between gender, education, occupation and consumption of legal drugs and depression. From the results we can see that the depression value of athletes at competition level is higher than that of the athletes in leisure sports. In addition, I was able to experience a significantly higher depression value among the people aged between 18-20 than those aged 30 and over. I also found a significant difference in terms of gender in favour of women. People with a low level of education and those who do not have a full-time job have witnessed more depressive symptoms on themselves. By examining the consumption of legal drugs, I could show a correlation between alcohol and depression.

Az utánpótlás korú labdarúgók sérüléseinek jellemzői
43-54Views:1365In the modern individual- and team sports the technical and tactical abilities reached their limit. To gain competitive advantage, the only choices are in the improvement of the physical and mental abilities. This advantage is gained by pushing the limitations of the human capacity, which can be an indicator for injury. In our research we will deal with the sports injuries, with in the most commonly occurrent injuries in soccer. In the first half of the article we will define the most common injuries for adult players based on international publications, and in the second part we will compare these results with the incidence in the youth soccer players from our research. With the build-up of the academy system, and with the increase of the physical requirements of the modern football, the youth players are exposed to a bigger load. In our research we will try to define the effect, and the incidence of certain injuries on the grounds of this huge load given in the growth-phase to the youth players compared to data and type experienced with adult players to find analogy or difference between them.

A review of civil society organizations concepts through content analysis
89-107Views:378Day by day, civil society organizations (CSOs) are becoming an increasingly important factor in all areas of the socio-economic system. The interest in their study has also increased, although the place, role, and definition of their terminology and concepts, needs to be further clarified, as their meaning changes conditionally. Through content analysis, this article reviews the literature by addressing a sample of 136 journal articles published in the period 2015-2019 in two big databases. The findings show that CSOs literature is dominated by qualitative works of social sciences authors who mostly use the term Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs). This paper is also elaborated on the main themes which dominate the text of the articles. Furthermore, the main concepts of this literature, development, organizations, international, local and other words are analyzed here. The significance of this study is that it aims to provide CSOs researchers with a clearer description of the terminology and concepts the most commonly used.

A dinamikusan fejlődő siket sportok fair play szellemisége érdekében a Siketek Nemzetközi Sportszövetsége (International Committee of Sports for the Deaf, ICSD) szabályokat vezetett be, amelyek meghatározzák a nagyothalló sportolók sporteseményeken való részvételét. A legalább 55 dB -es halláskárosodással rendelkező személyek a megengedettek. Ennek megfelelően az audiometriai vizsgálat képezi az első doppingellenőrzési kritériumot. 2004 óta az ICSD együttműködik a Nemzetközi Doppingellenes Ügynökséggel. A második feltétel tehát a tiltott anyagok vér- és vizeletminta-ellenőrzése. A 2017. évi 23. nyári Siketolimpián 2858 sportoló vett részt. Összességében 842 (29,5%) résztvevőt véletlenszerűen vetettek alá audiológiai tesztnek; 9 különböző országból érkező versenyzőt kizártak az ICSD szabványok be nem tartása miatt. Összesen 300 véletlenszerűen kiválasztott sportoló vett részt doppingellenőrzésen tiltott szerek miatt; egyet zártak ki. A szakirodalomból jelenleg hiányoznak a siket sportokkal, köztük a vonatkozó doppingellenőrzésekkel kapcsolatos tudományos elemzések. -

Az uszodai infrastruktúra vizsgálata az Észak-alföldi régióban
110-125Views:265Swimming is one of the popular sports that can be done at any age in addition to it being a health-promoting form of exercise. Due to the physical inactivity of a significant proportion of our current society, researchers have been looking at how the population can be persuaded to exercise sports regularly, which also included examining the impact of built environment on sporting habits. In our research, we investigated 34 swimming pools in the North Great Plain region, using a telephone interview-based questionnaire method. We reviewed the dates when the swimming pools were inaugurated, the goals set during the establishment, and the number and length of the pools. We analyzed how sporting activities such as school swimming, residential swimming, physiotherapy, training, and competitions appear in the timetable, and how the opening hours affect the usage of the pools by the population. It can be stated that based on the health indicators of the counties concerned, it would be important to educate for a healthy lifestyle, and also to ensure the possibility of swimming. At the same time, the infrastructure currently available is scarce and as such the continuation of the swimming pool building program is of paramount importance.

Egészségügyi dolgozók sportolási szokásai az Észak-alföldi régióban
55-64Views:376The health of those working in health care institutions is at risk from several aspects. However regular physical activity may play a role in counteracting these adverse effects. During our research, we examined the sporting habits of employees in one of the largest healthcare providers in Hungary. The survey was conducted in a voluntary and anonymous manner using a questionnaire method. 45.1% of the 987 respondents does sport on a regular basis, at least twice a week. We also examined the differences between the various work groups – doctors, health workers, employees of other sort – and those related to gender.
Based on the results it can be stated that health consciousness still needs to be improved in the region, and an especially important element of this can be the organized health promoting activity of the health care institutions. -
Magyarországi egyetemek hallgatóinak sportolási szokásai. Áttekintő irodalmi elemzés
92-102Views:599Previous research has highlighted that the frequency of regular exercise decreases linearly with age. There is, therefore, a need for young people to develop healthy lifestyle habits for themselves. In the course of our research, a literature review of Matarka (Hungarian Periodicals Table of Contents Database), MTMT (Hungarian Scientific Bibliograhy), and publications in the archives of DEENK (University and National Library of the University of Debrecen) was conducted to find those studies that examine the sports habits of Hungarian university students. A total of 22 studies were identified. The articles concerned 10 universities. The analysis found that although a significant proportion of university students engage in sports, the conscious integration of health education into students’ lives is recommended.

Az extrém fizikai aktivitás élettani és immunológiai hatásai
126-138Views:495Many researches have proven that prolonged endurance exercise like long distance running causes acute, unfavorable effects including damages in kidney, musculoskeletal system, cardiovascular system or gastrointestinal system. Several attempts were made to prevent or modulate these unwanted effects. To better understand the physiological and immunological background of damages caused by prolonged endurance exercise, studies were made on 8 healthy, trained male volunteer during a 2 hour training protocol. The protocol included 1 hour intensive cycling and 1 hour intensive running under medical control. Studies focused on the measurements of clinical chemistry parameters, also on the global gene expression changes of neutrophil granulocytes. Blood samples were collected before exercise (baseline), and 3, 48 and 96 hours following exercise. Based on the results, the intensive physical exercise dramatically changes several parameters in the blood. Many of these parameters return to the baseline within a few hours, while many of them requires several days for the recovery. One of the aims of the future studies is to develop food supplements that may prevent or alleviate the unwanted physiological damages.
