    In our paper, those international processes are studied which determine the role and effectiveness of public education in the international and Hungarian context. We try to examine what globalization processes the school fits into; what positive or negative confirmation the interventions cause in the education system. In the Hungarian situation besides the segregation and integration, the selectivity of the education system can be also seen and is also shown in the study. The paradigm shifts in public education, the role of the inclusive school are presented through the Hungarian integration efforts. To sum up, an implemented integration program is also introduced where the experts’ efforts are put in the center of the topic.

    The aim of inclusive education is to adapt educational requirements, educational organization and learning conditions to the needs and capabilities of each pupil in a multifaceted way. Inclusive education is implemented by the educational systems of the European Union Member States. In Poland its history began in the 1990s. Many activities are currently being undertaken to create the best possible conditions for the development of the potential of each pupil. The school environment in cooperation with the family is responsible for taking all possible measures to eliminate barriers which prevent the child from being given proper education. In particular, this task is related to the care for a child with disabilities.  In the Polish educational system, there are many forms of implementing the postulate of inclusive education. It is worth emphasizing the activity of day-care centres which provide extra-curricular education for children. The school day-care centre is a place where inclusive education is a daily practice. The article presents a case study of the activity of a day-care centre in one of the schools with inclusive classes in Krakow. The description of the day-care centre functioning made it possible to present the diversity of activities undertaken in it. The data was extended by referring to the opinions of parents and children.

    Because of the three religions are involved in the social life in Israel, not only the society and everyday life are very complex, but its educational system as well. The religious, political, cultural, and economic diversity of society has left a strong impression on education, including the educational provision of minority students. The topic of the writing is the education in Israel, including the most disadvantaged group, the past of the Bedouin pupils and their current situation. Nowadays, Bedouins make up one-third of the Negev population (210,000 people) who have been constantly turning from semi-nomadic lifestyles into living in the past decades. About 90,000 people live in unknown villages and camps, which in itself poses serious difficulties for Israeli education policy. The article gives an overview of the changes in Bedouin's social situation in the past 60-70 years, the circumstances of the first school, the effectiveness of the Bedouin pupils, their opportunities for further education, and its characteristics. In order to understand the functioning of the education system, it is essential to know about teacher training and the characteristics of the teachers who work in Bedouin schools.

  • INTERNATIONALISATION OF HIGHER EDUCATION IN HUNGARY

    The most important aim of this study is to give a brief overview on the internationalisation of the Hungarian higher education system. The European policies and programmes that are significant in the internationalisation of Hungarian higher education will be explained herein. The national agency for internationalisation and its programmes with a special emphasis on its flagship programme, the Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship programme will be described. With the help of statistical databases from the Education Office, and Tempus Public Foundation (TPF), significant trends will be analysed based on the most updated data in the field of incoming and outgoing student mobility. We will also use the Hungarian subsample (N= 7547) form the Eurostudent VII database, and discuss study mobility experiences of both domestic and international students from several aspects; demographics, transition and access, types and modes of study and socio-economic background. We will also provide international comparison from some aspects. Our findings confirm the results about the unbalanced nature of inbound and outbound mobility and the existing differences in the field of access.

    In the history of special education in Hungary, after the establishment and successful operation of segregated special education institutions with a long history, public education has come to many forms of co-education, the paths of which are still not unhindered. These problems point to the need for many changes in the way the education system works. Without constant and permanent development of teachers and innovative innovations in learning methods, success can hardly be expected. But there are other important issues to be addressed. The present study focuses primarily on the direction in which trends can be found in the light of the past. While exploring the current issues, we would like to provide a new framework for interpretation by highlighting and linking some of the results of two recently completed studies (Szabóné, 2022; Trembulyák, 2022) and by placing them in the context of the topic of the study. The study also aims to draw attention to the current trend that the school life of pupils with special educational needs who have participated in co-education at the primary level becomes more difficult as they progress to secondary education. This can significantly reduce not only their career choices but also their opportunities for successful social integration.

  • COMPARATIVE STUDY OF BODY TYPE INDEXES AND MOTORIC ABILITIES OF STUDENTS WITH SPECIAL EDUCATIONAL NEEDS (SEN) AND MAINSTREAM STUDENTS BY NETFIT SYSTEM

    Students with special educational needs (SEN) are participants of the Hungarian educational system. The goal of this study is to compare the body type indexes and motoric abilities of SEN students and mainstream students. Sample: n = 160 persons (80 SEN students and 80 mainstream students) from 1-8 grades of elementary school. Method: the survey of body type indexes and motoric abilities physical skills was based on the Hungarian NETFIT system (NETFIT is a Hungarian acronym of the National Unitary Student Fitness Test). Results: much more emphasis should be given to physical education lessons of SEN students because their physique indicators and motoric performances are significantly worse than mainstream pupils’.

       An Ügyfélkapu, a government authentication-based electronic signature service will be detailed in our paper. This service was designed to accomplish the rules of semantic Web and component-based design. The important milestones of the birth process of e-signature are described in our other paper, Electronic signature. The services of Electra Signature are described in this study. Thanks to the semantic Web infrastructures Electra can cooperate with other semantic Web-based applications, for example, FOAF using as a digital business card. We also inspected the laws of e-signature and we shared these with you in the previously mentioned study to help to create well-formed agreements.

       We would like to absolutely highlight the importance of special needed people' help options such as Electra service. Thanks to the Ügyfélkapu they can easier use e-signature than the general certificate-based solution.

    Efforts to eradicate Roma settlements in Hungary the EFOP-1.6.2 project provided resources for small settlements for the resolution and elimination of segregated life situations in the 2013-2020 EU programming period. The program provides opportunities for local needs-based developments through a complex intervention system in the settlements. One of the keys to the success of the programs may be the development and operation of local collaborations. In the study, we examined how previous educational integration practices related to the segregation program in a settlement.

    The fundamental concept of the paper is in accordance with the thesis of pedagogical anthropology claiming that the school success of students in minority status is in strictly correlation with the recognition of the cultural difference by the education system. From the point of view of empirical researches related to pedagogical anthropology and education of sociology, the conceptualization of culture and cultural difference is a vital important factor. The paper intends to elaborate on the possible interpretation of these notions based on the relevant national and international literature.
