HEALTH AWARENESS IN WORKPLACES OF HAJDÚ-BIHAR COUNTY
7-18Views:195In our research, we examined the importance of maintaining the mental and physical health of employees from an employer perspective. To this end companies in Hajdú-Bihar county who are listed in the TOP 100 based on their net revenue were interviewed. The most represented economic sectors in this relation were processing, services, trade, agriculture, and construction. We examined whether companies provided any benefits to their employees concerning health awareness. Among respondents those who offered various services of medical specialists and/or discounted gym or swim passes in addition to compulsory medical examinations were hard to find, however, more employers organize health and sports days. In conclusion, while workplace health promotion is necessary it requires a change in employers’attitudes.

THE PROCESS OF STUDENTS' SOCIALIZATION - FROM THE ASPECTS OF LECTURERS
19-33Views:404The aim of this study is to describe the university students’ socialization from the aspect of educational sociology. We will use the phenomena of institutional socialization and the training of intellectuals as a base of our theoretical frame. The study will focus on the changing world of universities as well. From the beginning of our research project (September 2019), 21 interviews were made with university lecturers from ten segments of training courses and seven cities of Hungary. The analyzed fields were the following: the description of the student body, the institutional and cultural climate of the universities, and the process of students’ socialization. According to our empirical findings, various patterns can be found and these patterns were shaped by the size of the city, the disciplines, the prestige of the training course, the features of the student body, and institutional policies. Campus-off circumstances are important as well for example the mediatization and the changing forms of cultural activities.

SWIMMING AS A TOOL FOR PRESERVING AND MAINTAINING HEALTH
35-47Views:641It is worth taking various preventive measures against the sedentary lifestyle, inadequate nutrition, and the harmful effects of stress on health. Swimming can be an excellent tool for this, which people consider to be one of the healthiest sports. How do people feel about this form of movement? Are you aware of the areas in which it is having a multifaceted positive impact? We sought answers to these and similar questions in our research. The study involved 126 people, all over the age of 40. Our method was an online questionnaire. Our results show that the multifaceted, positive effects of swimming are largely known to people, but there are still problem areas that are worth further investigation.

ACTIVITY, LEISURE SPORTS
49-58Views:776Nowadays sedentary lifestyle is at the forefront. In our spare time, both passive and active recreational trends and activities appear. The role of leisure sports is getting more and more appreciated among health-conscious consumers. Several studies proved that regular sports activities are projective factors against lifestyle-dependent diseases, so they are excellent means of prevention. Methods: Our study examined the leisure habits of Romanian and Hungarian residents, their activity in sport, their attitude towards active recreation activities, and their openness to new methods. The results were analyzed by using SPSS software. Results: The results underline that passive leisure activities (watching television, listening to music, reading, surfing the internet) are popular in people's lives, although most people live a sedentary lifestyle. People, who exercise in their free time have noticed a number of positive effects on themselves. 80-90% of respondents interested in new methods and would like to take part in sports events at work, at school, or at university.

CONTEMPORARY SOCIAL PROCESSES IN TISZALÖK
95-104Views:165Our research conducted in Tiszalök is a part of a longer, multiple part research series, in which we will identify the main social features and map the current social processes in the less populous settlements of the more deprived regions of the country in particular. Basically, the aim of our research is to understand and present the perspective of the local people. The decisive criterion for the selection of research sites was that the smaller settlements of these peripheral regions are subject to rather unfavorable socio-demographic processes, including in particular the decline in the population, aging, and the increase in the share of the disadvantaged populations. These processes – unless there are significant changes – project an even more unfavorable vision of the future. The adverse socio-demographic processes described above are definitely observable in Tiszalök. Related to this, the primary objective of the research was to understand the opportunities, goals, and vision of the local youth most affected by migration, as well as to recognize the local community relations and the characteristics of cohabitation of the Roma and non-Roma population in particular.

105-116Views:571Dyspraxia is hardly known to many people at all, but it is also less known for professionals as well. The questions are that - what does dyspraxia mean, is it related to developmental coordination disorder and another similar status. How many children are affected, how can it be recognized and diagnosed and how should it be managed? This paper attempts to provide a brief overview of developmental dyspraxia based on the questions. It deals with emerging terminologies, the impact of a state on different areas of ability, and associated states.

THE CREATIVE USE OF PHOTOTHERAPEUTIC TOOLS IN EDUCATION
119-124Views:292The Educational Service functions in interdisciplinary teams. The services are primarily used by children with special educational needs, along with their parents and educators. The best practice was made by thinking in an integrated service model, based on solution-focused, children – and family-oriented experiences. One of the cornerstones is coaching, especially those tools, that inspire phototherapeutic self-knowledge and the solutions of problems, Points of You™ (Efrat Shani & Yaron Golan, 2007). The phototherapeutic picture – and word cards function as projective surfaces. They stimulate both of the cerebral hemispheres at the same time, causing an intentional confusion between the logical left hemisphere and the intuitive right one. That’s when the person is able to see a new point of view and have an „aha experience”. The new point of view can already lead to the recognition of new possibilities. The Educational Service of Hajdú-Bihar County introduced the phototherapeutic method to its educational practices in a lot of areas of the service, innovatively and uniquely in the country, on an organizational level. In the area of educational and psychological counseling and development, this method can be used in individual, couple, and group forms, as well. People can use it to develop themselves, it can be used with children, parents, educators, and other processes. The core institution of the Ministry of Education has been making this best practice popular for years now.

PLAY THERAPY FOR INFANTS AND TODDLERS WITH DISABILITIES IN THE AREA OF EARLY INTERVENTION AND CARE
125-132Views:566The experts of early development working in the Hajdú-Bihar County Educational Service worked out new therapy for the damaged babies, young children, and their families while taking the local factors and resources into consideration. This therapy strongly fits the family-oriented approach and the coordinated, integrated provider model of early childhood intervention. The tool for this is play therapy, which is the most important element of the development of damaged children. The program is based on the healing play therapy designed by Tunyogi (2019). We added some elements of the Step By Step preschool program to the therapy, and for the design of the environment and conditions, we used the Work-Fun-Development concept of Schaffer (1988) Parts of the intensive, group play therapy: sensorimotor program, the differentiated stimulation therapy of the senses, the increase of learning abilities, a staged environment. This year, new elements and therapeutic tools have been added to the program, like the Points of YouTM phototherapy method for parents, as well as dog therapy and baby massage for the little ones.
