Among these, I would like to highlight some of the more important ones, as well as present the results of my surveys in which I assessed university students' modeling, abstraction and lexical knowledge before and after online education.

    It is of major importance for the Faculty of Economics and Business of the University of Debrecen to become familiar with the opinion of students about the education carried out at the University, therefore particular attention is given to the feedback of students related to education. Measurement and evaluation/reviews serve multiple purposes. Students may – if explicit written consent of the lecturer is provided – get to know the opinion of their fellow students about each course, lecturers may receive feedback about the reputation of their courses, the University and Faculties may acquire information about the overall opinion of their students about the training. Feedback is basically suitable for supporting the work aimed at the improvement of training quality. In the scope of present study the reviews submitted by the students of the Controlling and performance specialisation within the Management and Organisation course are introduced.

  • Comparative Analysis of Collaborative Robots

    In our study, we provided a comparison of four robot arms used in industry to determine  the most suitable model to adopt in university education. We investigated robot arms from the following manufacturers: ABB, Kuka, Universal Robots, and Techman Robot. The multi-criteria system was grounded on the important factor and experience. Following this, each aspect was ranked using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. In addition, the order among the four alternatives was established by using the Kesselring method. The present study describes a selection method for industrial robots in the academic area.

    In the University of Debrecen Building Mechatronics Research Centre faced by the application of building automation technology, are tackled by cutting edge research performed at the Research Centre. The embedded device system, the focus of the ongoing project at the Research Centre, is programmable, reconfigurable, and adjustable. The design of an efficient embedded system must meet regulatory requirements, for optimizing building energy efficiency. The system provides solutions for a range of industrial applications, and peaks the interest of building services providers (e.g. SMEs).

  • International Experiences of Introducing Dual Training Based on Examples from Some Countries

    In Hungary, dual training was introduced in 2015.  Dual training is a response to the needs of the labour market and has become increasingly popular since its introduction. Dual training is also playing an increasingly important role in higher educationin many countries, helping to modernise education, the knowledge transferred and fostering stronger links between companies and universities. The aim of this article is to present the dual training system and the international experience gained over time, drawing on the literature available on the subject.

    Development of the Science and practical application of the results created big changes in the nontradicional areas too. The „Health industry” was developed. The results of the physics, chemistry, biology and mikroelektronics etc. helped to develop some new methods of diagnosis, operation etc. The „money industry” was developed too. Our opinion is, that the most important cause of the economic crisis is a non regulated well of the „money industry”. The „knowledge industry” was developed too. The „knowledge industry” contains all level of teaching and Research + Development + Innovation. Our analyze shows that the Innovation is the most important factor of the economic Development of Society. The new scientific results created big changes in area of the Management. The „Management Science” was developed as an independent area. Some management specialists developed some management methods (eg. Value Analysis, Risk Management, TRIZ, Lean methods etc.) for efficient allocation of sources.

  • Labor Market Effects of Organizational Health Promotion

    Nowadays, we can observe an increasing trend in the spread of non-communicable diseases. It is important to highlight the social factors that negatively affect health. Determinants includes income, education and the research-relevant working and living conditions. From a labor market perspective, unemployment and poor working conditions are a significant responsibility for the deterioration of mental and physical health. Health is also affected by employment conditions. Extended working hours have been shown to be harmful to health. Poor health has generates poorer work performance, a higher rate of sick leave, and higher health care costs. My primary goals in my research was to explore the labor market impacts of workplace health promotion and guidelines for corporate health promotion. Within health promotion, physical activity has played a prominent role. I’ve been used secondary data collection during my research. I have been performed a traditional literature analysis based on domestic and international studies. My results are suggest that the workplace health promotion has more positive labor market effects than increasing productivity and reducing absenteeism and health care costs. It is important to mention that health promotion could bring benefits to both employers and employees. Regarding corporate guidelines, there is no new approach directive other than the older literature sources. thus, it may be worthwhile to develop a new and different corporate process for effective workplace health promotion.

  • Comparing higher education preferences with labour market needs

    Hungarian institutions of higher education play an important role in national economy: they ensure intellectual labour with appropriate knowledge and professional competencies for Hungary in all profession fields. If the rules of private sector are applied for these institutions – interpreting it within a certain framework as the quality of education and research has to be maintained and there are social benefits associated with them -, they owned by the state, their management is the institutional leadership and their consumer is the labour market. Thus, training programmes must or should be developed in accordance with the needs of labour market. It represents a major challenge, even without taking into consideration other factors, since future requirements should be aimed (at least a 3-5 year training period later) – along with a rapid technological development. Even if the state makes significant efforts to adapt training programmes to meet the requirements of the labour market demands, students who want to further their education pay limited attention to these factors in their educational decision-making. Partly for this reason, career transition or shortages may occur in the case of certain professions. This paper seeks to address to what extent the most popular training programmes meet the expectations and to what extent the degree earned may be regarded as a ‘success’ in the labour market; moreover, if they do not overlap each other, how much applicants prefer those training programmes which are to be considered the most successful based on recruitment information. Admission statistics of Education Department and database of DPR provide the necessary information for the period 2010-2017 and these data sources enable authors to follow-up students from application to higher education until employment.

  • Level of Digital Competences and the Examination the Relationship Between Unemployment and in Job-Trainings in the European Union

    In this study we examined the digital competences by the EU Member States between 2015 and 2017 based on data of OECD and EuroStat. We wanted to know, are there any relationship between the unemployment and the level of digital competences. We realised that, in these countries where the percentage of individuals with basic digital skills is higher, there the harmonized unemployment rate is lower, than in those states where the individuals have above-average digital skills. In the case of lower educated states (where the citizens do not have a general digital knowledge), the unemployment rate is higher. We researched the openness of companies towards individuals with different levels of digital knowledge. In these countries, where the more educated people live there provide the comapnies more chance to take part further trainings, than in the less educated countires. We found a moderately strong negative correlation between the group of individuals who have low overall digital skills and in-work trainings. It means, if a country has individuals with a few digital competences, there the organisations will not offer trainings them. According to the available data we could divide the EU Member States in three clusters. These groups are underdeveloped, developing, developed countries. The biggest difference is between these groups in the quantity of skilled people, however the distribution of individuals in the developed group also shows interesting features. We realised in these countries the so-called „reverse competence pyramid”. It means, as the level of skill grows, the number of individuals, who own it, grows as well. As a continuation of the research, it would be worth examining the countries regionally, so it would be clear where are, the "digital kingdoms" can be found. On the one hand this could help the state in the allocation of digital education, on the other hand, it would also improve the position of companies. They could create regional centers in less developed countries, thus outsourcing expensive high added value work.

    The importance of actions on adaptation to economic change associated with the knowledge-based economy has continuously grown both regional and national level. Individuals' flexibly adjust and the knowledge acquired in all forms of education is very important factors in the evolving knowledge-based economies. We examine the fiscal and private expenditures on education among OECD countries between 2005 and 2013, and we analyse the development of education expenditures with particular attention to Hungary.

    On February 11, 2021, I gave a motivational lecture at the Tamás Esze High School in Mátészalka, and I completed a series of test tasks with the students. In this article, I looked for an answer to how students who are about to graduate approach to solving math problems. The main objective was to investigate whether they prefer to solve purely mathematical or application-oriented tasks, and in which one they achieve better results. In this paper, I analyze the results obtained.

  • The Individual, Education or Work Environment Influences the Quality of Graduates’ Employment?

    In this paper I examine what has an effect on the quality of the graduated students’ employment. The quality is measured by the the discrepancy between the educational attainment of workers and the educational requirements of their job. On the base of this I can distinguish matching and overeducated workers. The latter category can be divided into two other groups, so called genuinely overeducated, who are not satisfied with their mismatch, and apparently overeducated, who are satisfied with their mismatch. Using multinomial logit model I try to identify those individual, educational and workplace’s characteristics that influence being matching, apparently, or genuinely overeducated using the database of students graduated in 2007 and 2009 in the University of Debrecen. I try to test those factors that were determined in the literature like mobility and commuting propensity, market rigidity, career mobility, job tenure.
