Abstract
Simulation techniques can also be used in the education of social work students, in the further training of professionals, and as a practical tool for social work. According to international experience, by participating in social work simulations, students can gain more practice, develop skills, receive feedback, and become confident and competent before they start providing services to clients (SUNARICH & ROWAN, 2017). Types of simulation are simple simulations, standardized clients, large-scale, multi-participant situations such as poverty or reintegration simulations, computer programs and simulations using virtual reality, but we can also include simulation board games or interactive theater performances. In the study, we present several examples and good practices and examine the possible benefits of using simulations.
