The first issue of the Hungarian Gerontology was published in January 2009, with the intention to provide an interdisciplinary platform for the national scientific and professional articles of gerontology. During the more than one decade existence the original aims did not change, the journal still focuses the disciplines of national and related international scientific areas of gerontology.
