This study analyses the social media usage patterns of adolescents in state care and young people within the general population, with a particular focus on the relationship between loneliness and digital platform option within the framework of Uses and Gratifications Theory (UGT).This topic is quite relevant today as mobile devices and the Internet had turned into key venues for the socialization and emotional regulation norm of young people, especially those who are disadvantaged in their social relationships. In our research, we seek to answer how young people's use of various social media platforms reflects the fulfilment of their social needs, and how these patterns are influenced by subjective well-being, feelings of loneliness, and family background. The sample consists of 554 young people aged 13–20, including those in state care and a control group. Based on the results of the quantitative analysis, young people in state care primarily use Messenger to maintain family relationships, very intensly, or seldom, as a kind of ‘virtual umbilical cord’, while for the control group, the same platform is a way of strengthening peer relationships. The overall impression indicates that lonely young people in state care are more likely to turn to platforms offering passive, parasocial content (such as YouTube). According to the overall results of our study, the functional role of social media varies significantly depending on social background: For young people in state care, digital communication is not only a form of entertainment but also, in a sense, a partial substitute for a lack of relationships and a psychological coping strategy.

According to WHO a new integrative mindset became relevant nowadays which sees people as bio-psycho-social-spiritual wholes. These factors start to form in childhood and those who work with people have a great responsibility to help to deploy them. The media and the internet have the main role in influencing these 4 dimensions. In our article, we attempt to reveal the effects of this psychologically relevant question on health behavior. Several risk behaviors can be mentioned which are caused by uncontrolled media and internet usage. Bullying through electronic devices („cyberbullying”) occurs more and more frequently which has multiple reasons. Nevertheless, in connection with the social dimension of well-being, an important cause of internet usage appears the sense of belonging. The formation of health psychology was legitimate as the biomedical model failed and the expenses of health care and the interest towards the quality of life increased, also alternative solutions became more in demand.

The equal opportunities approach of the second half of the 20th century emphasizes the social inclusion of disadvantaged groups, including persons with disabilities. Education and employment play a key role in achieving integration. Nevertheless, other fields such as leisure time and sporting activities also contribute positively to the social involvement of persons with disabilities. At present nearly 7,000 persons with disabilities are registered in Hungary who pursue sports competitively, of whom approximately 5,000 persons with intellectual disabilities (Regényi et.al, 2017). The study discloses the partial results of a research aimed at revealing the awareness of the Hungarian population regarding the sport of people with disabilities. As such research has never been carried out in Hungary before, it can fill in a niche. The results of our exploratory research may be the starting point for further investigations. The importance of the topic is given by the fact that thanks to the sport the focus is on the outstanding performance of the social group concerned rather than on their limitations and deficiencies, which therefore reinforces the positive and accepting attitude of citizens. Previous research findings have highlighted that the nature of disability-related knowledge influences the way the members of society think about persons with disabilities, i.e. when it is possible to provide information and gain experience focusing on the existing abilities and strengths of the above -mentioned group, attitudes become more positive as well.  The findings of the research reveal that respondents consider it important to pursue sport within an integrated framework, at the same time they feel it is justified to do segregated sports with a view to persons with disabilities. Based on the results we can state that the media coverage of achievements in sports competitions of persons with disabilities is perceived as low level, but apparently it is not considered to be a key area in the lives of persons with disabilities.

The study examines how the employment of people with disabilities is reflected in corporate social responsibility (CSR) strategies among companies in Hungary. It explores how CSR activities shape society's attitudes and what competitive advantages can be gained. The study uses a mixed methodology: content analysis is used to present the communication strategies of four large companies (Szerencsejáték Zrt., Auchan Magyarország Kft., Magyar Posta Zrt., Nolato Magyarország Kft.) based on a specific set of criteria. The qualitative study involved seven participants. The results are processed using thematic analysis and quote-based interpretation. Based on empirical research, it can be concluded that people with disabilities can be integrated into the open labor market. Companies have separate integration programs and communicate this on their websites, but there is still improvement needed in their communication on social media, as only those who specifically search for it will find it.

The development and everyday practice of health-conscious behaviour have become increasingly important in contemporary society. In the process of shaping a healthy lifestyle, the enhancement of awareness plays a key role; therefore, it is essential that education promoting regular physical activity and a health-conscious way of life begins at an early age. The aim of the present study was to explore the extent to which health consciousness and the pursuit of a healthy lifestyle are present in the lives of secondary school students in a small town, as well as to examine whether behaviours harmful to health occur in their everyday lives, with particular emphasis on the increasingly popular tobacco products. Furthermore, the study sought to investigate the influence of socialisation contexts, specifically the relationship between family background and willingness to engage in sports, and the impact of online social media applications on regular physical activity. The primary research was conducted using an online questionnaire survey to students in grades 9–11 (n = 69) at Derecske I. Rákóczi György Secondary Grammar School, Technical School, and Dormitory. The survey assessed students’ attitudes toward a healthy lifestyle. The findings indicate that students at the investigated secondary school are familiar with the key components of a healthy lifestyle and strive to incorporate them into their everyday lives. The family, as the primary socializing environment, appears to have a significant influence on their health consciousness. Health-risk behaviors such as smoking, alcohol consumption, and illicit drug use were not characteristic of the respondents. In contrast, the consumption of unhealthy foods, including fast food and sugar-sweetened beverages, was reported to be common among the participants. The impact of the internet and media on sporting habits was found to be substantial, with these factors exerting a predominantly negative influence on adolescents’ willingness to engage in regular physical activity.
