Opportunities of Computer-aided Building Energy Consumption Design
1-5.Views:77Nowadays a significant part of energy is consumed in buildings. In order to reduce the energy consumption different retrofit technologies are applied. As every building and every energy consumer is different the same modernization technic can not be used for all buildings. This paper shows a computer aided opportunity which is able to simulate different modernization technic for the same building in order to the best opportunity can be selected. The paper highlights the advantages of computeraided building design and the opportunities of optimization techniques in a new under design building case. This paper also contains examples in order to introduce this modelling method.

Development of Portable Measuring System for Testing of Electrical Vehicle’s Heat Energy Recovery System
1-4.Views:101Nowadays the consumer society applies a huge amount of energy in many fields including the transportation sector. The application of the internal combustion vehicles contribute substantially to the air pollution. An alternative solution for reducing energy consumption is replacing the internal combustion vehicles by electrical or hybrid vehicles. Today one of the biggest disadvantages of the electrical vehicles is the finite capacity of batteries. The research topic presented in this paper is the „Energy Harvesting”, and development of energy recovery system for electrical vehicles which largely contributes in increasing the driving range. At the current phase of the research efficiency analysis of the heat energy recovery devices are investigated in real driving circumstances. Computer based mobile and wireless measurement system for the analysis was developed, tested and installed in a real vehicle. Driving tests were performed and analysed in different circumstances.

Lightweight Multi-agent Framework for a Cluster-based Wireless Sensor Network
1-7.Views:97Sensor applications and wireless sensor networks (WSNs) are becoming a part of our everyday life. A number of network arrangements are used in WSN. In this paper, we focus on the cluster based network to help identify the issues associated with communication within such networks. We present a lightweight multi-agent routing framework for a cluster based WSN to resolve some issues associated with such networks. By using state- of-art protocol in a unique combination and categorizing cluster layers, we take full advantage of the properties of the selected protocols. The simulation results illustrate that the proposed method is light-weight in terms of energy consumption by the sensor nodes communicating information within a cluster based network. Nevertheless, high network throughput and robust data communication are also achieved.
