In my study I examine the secondary school students’ experiences about service-learning in Nyíregyháza. I used quantitative method and I asked 185 students. This service-learning is compulsory for those secondary school children who want to gets the certificate of final examination. The first students in this system graduated from secondary school in 2016 so I asked them about their service-learning experiences. In addition I also examine what are the differences between the experiences among the type of the secondary school and academic success. In my analyses I use crosstabs and variance analyses by means of SPSS program. According to my results there is a significant correlation between the student’s experiences and secondary school type. The secondary school type have significant effect to secondary school student’s experiences of service-learning (area of choice, the motivation of area selection, where fulfil the service-learning, there are preparatory and processor lessons). The average of grade (except area of choice) is not effect to the experience.

The Révész married couple embodies, as perhaps one of the last few examples, the type of pedagogist couples working not only as teachers but serving in many issues of the school and the settlement. They served from 1972 for 34 years in the village of Gomba in Pest County, feasting school innovations as well. György Révész led the 4092nd Dózsa György Pioneer Unit from 1974 for 25 years, and after 52 years he is still a member of the leadership of the unit. Veronika Bárdos is a constituent of the story without a formal role. It is special that the pioneer leaders of the group have been young leaders since 1974, most of them joined as high-school students or young adults; they still refer to themselves as „young leaders” after decades. Since when young leaders started doing the great part of the pioneer leaders' work, the pedagogists have also been volunteers, or nonmembers of the unit. The many young leaders have turned the pioneer unit into a children's and youth organization, which even has a function of advocacy. It was after the end of Socialism that György Révész's activity extended to the national level of the Pioneer Association, the movement pedagogy, and later to the movement's history. He is still active in the systemization of documents, in the organization of their preservation, as well as in the unit of Gomba and its camps.

This paper compares the perspectives of six professions -social workers, lawyers, nurses, physicians, psychologists, and public health professionals- on ways to improve the health and social conditions of a prototypical low-income urban community. It examines how the cohort defined and deliberated on the process of involving “the community” in addressing issues facing a hypothetical neighborhood, even when the question was not part of the research guidelines. A framework for constituency participation emerged from the data and was further developed to include 5 components: “who, why, when, ways and what level.” The type, level, and meaning of community was complex and multi-faceted, raising critical questions about professional-community relationships and the role of community development practitioners. Ultimately, community participation was identified as both difficult and transformative at the same time. Attention by community practitioners to the “five Ws framework for constituency participation” may maximize positive outcomes for collaboration between professionals and community.
