Employment Practice of Persons with Disabilities and a Reduced Work Capacity in the Open Labour Market
1-13Views:769Based on the labour market situation of persons with disabilities and a reduced work capacity as an employee group we can claim that it is an employee group struggling with significant disadvantages. Their economic activity is behind thereof the population without disabilities and a reduced work capacity. According to the latest statistical data the employment level of persons with disabilities and a reduced work capacity is only around 18 per cent. The governments in power try to increase the economic activity of the affected employee group with both positive and negative incentive system laying stress on the field of primary open labour market. However, it is all unimaginable without changing the approach of the society and the business sphere, which can succeed through the legal regulation of equal opportunities, equal treatment and the prohibition of discrimination. By means of professional interviews carried out with company directors and HR directors of 3 examined companies operating in the Northern Great Plain region as well as case studies the article aims at exploring the attitude of market participants towards the employee group of persons with disabilities and a reduced work capacity, legal changes of recent years, the extent this group is employed and the obstacles that make their further employment more difficult.

Analysis of Labor Market Indicators in the Northern Great Plain Region in 2018 and 2022
1-18Views:30In my study, I analyze the labor market indicators of the North Great Plain statistical region for the years 2018 and 2022 in order to map the regional labour market characteristics based on the indicators. One method of the analysis is the Beveridge curve. This complex analysis method graphically illustrates the evolution of the relationship between the unemployment rate and the proportion of vacant positions typical of the region under investigation. The results of the analysis can draw attention to possible problems in the labour market in the region. I examine the secondary statistical data in parallel with the available related literature.

Comparative Analysis of Equestrian Facilities in the North Great Plain Region
79-93Views:383Equestrian services appear in recreation, sports and tourism as well. The favorable natural and cultural values of Hungary and the image of the equestrian nation based on the traditions of the horse provide a favorable background for the development of supply elements. The lowland character and horse culture of the Northern Great Plain region, and the continuous development of horseback riding services here, reinforces the equestrian supply element in the field of sport and leisure. Our in - depth interviews were conducted among service providers with a “horseshoe rating” (N = 11) operating in the Northern Great Plain Region. The results show that all service providers consider and plan the development of equine, infrastructure and human resources, although the source of its financing is different (from state, other successful businesses, realized business results of equestrian enterprises). Equestrian service providers with no horseshoe rating have identified the improvement of quality, the 3, 4, and 5 horseshoe qualified service providers for the expansion of the complex program offering and product diversification.

Role of Grants for Tourism Purposes in Development of the Northern Great Plain Region
365-376Views:159Aim of the treatise is, based on main macroeconomic indicators, to present the development of the Northern Great Plain region and the amount of EU grants received, including the ones for tourism purposes, as well as to examine the effects of grants. Based on the data, it can be concluded the region received significant grants during the years 2007-2013; it is in last place in view of the economic development but has achieved better performance in several areas. It is difficult to examine the accommodation and food service national economic sector independently: in one respect, it develops by the combined impact of several other areas, on the other hand, the tourism-related developments become usable for other sectors as well, new enterprises and investments are launched, at the same time, not only the companies’ but the municipalities’ revenues from tourism are increasing. Based on the statistical data, attention will be drawn to the fact that the outcome of developments is just moderate in the area of catering and tourism in the region and has a different rate by county.

The Location of Energy Plantations in the Sowing Structure and Its Evaluation with Linear Programming
255-269Views:97The research is examining traditional arable crops and woody plants on the basis of their marginal contribution. Calculations of income, expenditure and revenue were made on the grounds of sectoral technologies, which were the basis of the value of marginal contribution of the given sectors. As the linear programming model is quite comprehensive, we used this method for our calculations. To compile our model, we have gathered all the necessary information from farmers of the region of the Northern Great Plain. The missing data was completed from the databases of the Hungarian Central Statistical Office (KSH), Institute for Agricultural Economics Research and Information Technologies (AKII) and the Statistical Office of the European Communities (EUROSTAT). In some cases, we also used data of the Agricultural Administration Office and the Ministry of Agricultural and Rural Development. Our goal is to compile a 12-year production structure that suits for the characteristics of the region of the Northern Great Plain by achieving the maximum marginal contribution of a feature-farm.

Risk Analysis of Food Retail Companies in Hungary’s Northern Great Plain Region
539-550Views:307Based on the financial ratios of analyzed companies we were performed a risk analysis, highlighting the degree of operational and financial leverages and the degree of combined leverage combining preceding ratios. We introduced a new aspect of the risk concept which began to spread in recent times. In the interest of to be able to analyse together cross-sectional and time series data, panel regression model was used. The panel regression is an extension of the multivariate linear regression interpreted as a multi-level model. In our study, the panel regression was used for analysis of food retailer companies, in the Northern Great Plain region's counties, in the period 2009-2014.

Knowledge of Control Methods and their Application in the Practice of Small and Medium Enterprises in the Northern Great Plain Region
441-452Views:356Like large companies, the small, and medium-sized businesses need also all the information to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of their business by making sound management decisions. Compared to large companies, SMEs have significant development potential, which can be created in part by the companies themselves, possibly through the introduction of new-modern management - business administration methods or economic policy measures (= targeted and efficient support system), which, by stimulating R & D & I processes, serves to increase competitiveness and contribute more and proportionally to domestic GDP and exports. The analysis presented in the study covers the controlling knowledge of the leading SMEs of the Northern Great Plain Region, the conscious or unconscious application of controlling tools, the assessment of succession, customer and supplier valuation and certain areas of managerial accounting. Overall, it can be concluded from the small sample size that the use of controlling tools is proportional to the size of the business, but nevertheless, many mid-size business executives do not require the collection and analysis of insider information that could explicitly help decision making for example through advanced costing procedures.
