Reduction of energy use in buildings continue to be one of the most important goals in this sector. The aim of our research was to analyse the effects on the heating energy demand of passive technics. In the case of a detached house the energy savings using mass wall, Trombe-Michel wall and sunspace was determined. The calculations have been performed in the case of a building with average thermophysical characteristics and in the case of a building having similar geometry but its external building elements fulfilling the requirements of nearly zero energy buildings. It was proven, that some of the mentioned technics may lead to higher energy demand for heating, so a complex energy analysis has to be carried out before implementing them.

  • Technical Issues and Their Effect on the Financial and Time Scheduling of the Building Under Roof and/or Floor Upbuilding

Building under roof and/or floor upbuilding raises technical issues different as one raise in the case of green investments. Primarily, depending of system of building constructions of the existing building there is a possibility to build under roof, and/or floor upbuilding. In the paper we review those technical issues, what decide, that in the case of given building there is or not possibility to build under roof, and/or floor upbuilding. We examine in general, that in the case of building under roof, and/or floor upbuilding what building process should be considered, and what kind of time and financial scheduling is advisable to prescribe. We will present a case study, that the inadequate processing of technical issues may require time and financial rescheduling.

  • Sections of Hungarian Contemporary Architecture and Fine Arts

In my study I have examined the sections of Hungarian contemporary architecture and fine arts. In the historical overview it has become clear that two turning points have influenced contemporary arts: the total art work (Gesamtkunstwerk) of the Ghotic and Baroque styles. I listed the sections in three categories: metamorphosis, relationship and section. The sections are the highest level of these categories. I explained my research in detail by analyzing these sections, at János Megyik's art and his Gate statue at Life Science building and library at the University of Debrecen.

  • Examination of an Office Building's Energy-Producing Opportunities Using the Temperature Frequency Curve

In our study we would like to choose the energy generating system for a business center in Mátészalka. The
system will cover the heating energy demand of shops and offices of the building. The heat demand of the building
was calculated by a computer program. The energy demand was calculated with help of the Temperature
Frequency Graph. In our study we choose bolilers and heat-pumps. We compared their operating costs.

In the Part II. we deal with the changes of structures in supporting structures of buildings. The changes of the structure we will connected with new materials or new approach. We deal with two problems. First is the formations and change of the vault. The second is the change of the supporting structure of buildings in case of using new materials with bending or only stretching resistance.

  • Constantly Changing: Revitalization of Our Existing Building Stock with a User-centric Approach Through the Comparison of Three Hungarian Examples

Our built environment’s community-oriented spaces are rapidly becoming obsolete in response to current social, cultural and economic demands. The renovation project of the tímárház Szárító műhely in Debrecen presents a new potentional transformation model in the region with a focus on community-creating and cultural awareness. The incremental, cost-effective small-scale intervention and adaptive reuse of the building’s spaces provide an opportunity to preserve its values and swiftly respond to evolving needs. In order to validate the underlying principles of the interventions proposed in the plan, it will be compared to two similar-minded examples, the Művészeti Ellátó in Eger and Szabadkikötő in Pécs. The projects were examined through the processes occuring within their respective life cycles, as their transformations exhibit recurring patterns. The analyses were conducted based on interviews with the creators, online articles, studies and on-site visits.

The problem addressed in this work is to examine the feasibility of using straw in innovative and alternative ways, focusing on aspects of cost sensitivity in subject areas of building investment and energy compsumption. I analysed the energy efficient performance of a straw bale building and compared that with those of a conventional construction, a newly-constracted building and a passive house. In my study I assessed the figures of costs of emboided energy, primary energy consumption and carbon dioxide emission. I made calculations in terms of energy costs for a lifespan of 50 years. Considering that straw-bale construction uses an excellent and sustainable insulation material, its energy use is by 25.38% less than that of conventional construction.

Nowadays more attention should be paid to the electric power generation wi th renewables. The photovoltaic systems have several benefits. But this systems power output could drastically drop by numerous external phenome. To avoid these, we introduce the so called “TIGO” power opti mizing system features and the monitoring of the deployed system on an existing building. We examine the produced energy for a given time period.
