About the Journal

The Hungarian Journal of Nutrition Marketing scientific journal was created in  September 2014 by the Institution of Marketing and Commerce. The aim of the journal is to facilitate publicity of food and nutrition marketing researchers’ scientific work related to health economy and health-promoting markets (active exercise, wellness, fitness, spa, foods and herbs) within that. International promotion is aided by English abstracts, tables and figures.

The Hungarian Journal of Nutrition Marketing is an Open Access journal published twice a year (July/August and November/December). The Hungarian Journal of Nutrition Marketing provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. This journal submitted manuscripts will be reviewed under double-blind peer review system: reviewers of manuscripts write anonymous comments without getting any information about the authors. The journal is proofread and entirely complies with the regulations thus its structure and the development of requirements follow international standards. The journal only accepts original manuscripts. Submission and publication of articles are free of charge and we do not charge any administrative fees or other costs.

The Hungarian Journal of Nutrition Marketing also appears in print. Printed copies are available in limited quantities, subject to availability, in which case the editorial staff should be contacted by email.

Editorial Board and Scientific Board of the new journal was compiled to integrate the work of both operative (journal editing) and scientifically recognised experts.

The studies published in the journal are archived by the Electronic Archive (DEA) of the University of Debrecen (https://dea.lib.unideb.hu/dea/handle/2437/256134). The Journal has got repository policy (https://v2.sherpa.ac.uk/id/publication/37991).

The Editorial Board of The Hungarian Journal of Nutrition Marketing accepts and, wherever possible, applies the recommendations of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) (Core practices).
