About the Journal

Acta Geographica Debrecina Landscape & Environment series is a electronic and print peer reviewed scientific open access journal published by the Debrecen University Press.

It was founded in 2007 by University of Debrecen, Institute of Earth Sciences.

Former names of the journal:

1975-2006: Acta Geographica, Ac Geologica Ac, Meteorologica Debreceina (ISSN 0209-9004 (Print)).

2007-2016: Acta Geographica Debrecina. Landscape and environment series (ISSN 1789-4921 (Print), ISSN 1789-7556 (Online)).

2017-present: Acta Geographica Debrecina. Landscape and environment series ( ISSN 1789-7556 (Online only)).

Acta Geographica Debrecina Landscape & Environment series publishes all the papers in the theme of landscape and environmental researches. Articles of laboratory analysis, GIS methods and reviews are waited. The main subjects of the journal: landscape evaluation; landscape metrics; land use changes; investigation of environmental elements; climatology; meteorology; human impacts, tourism and environment, GIS studies.

Papers within any of the above mentioned topics which can provide new knowledge to understand the environmental and landscape system are welcome.

Acta Geographica Debrecina Landscape & Environment series is published twice a year. Authors are expected to submit their papers in proper scholarly language, explaining technicalities and providing precise references. 

The journal is indexed/abstracted in ProQuest, CABI, EBSCO, Open J-Gate, Genamic JournalSeek, Ulrichsweb, DOAJ and MATARKA.
 
The published volumes are archived by DEA (University of Debrecen Electronic Archive), the latest issues are available on our website, and the issues published before 2017 here.
