Abstract

Migration begleitet die Menschheit seit jeher und prägt Kulturen, Wirtschaft und Sozialstrukturen in verschiedenen Regionen. Diese Studie untersucht das demografische Profil von Migranten aus sowjetischen und postsowjetischen Staaten in Ostungarn. Im Fokus stehen Geschlecht, Alter, Migrationsdauer und geografische Herkunft. Diese Merkmale geben Aufschluss über die Mechanismen der Anpassung und die Weitergabe kultureller Praktiken zwischen den Generationen in lokalen Diaspora-Gemeinschaften. Methodisch dient das demografische Profil als Grundlage für zukünftige Stichprobenstrategien und Mixed-Methods-Studien. Praktisch trägt es zur lokalen Wahrnehmung bei, indem es die für die Bevölkerung wichtigsten Formen sozialer und sprachlicher Unterstützung identifiziert. Die Ergebnisse sind vorläufig, liefern aber wertvolle Informationen zum Verständnis regionaler Migrationsdynamiken und zur Konzeption weiterer groß angelegter Studien.
