Editorial Team
The editorial work of the journal is based at the Institute of Slavic Studies of the University of Debrecen and is headed by Editor-in-Chief Prof. Klára Agyagási, professor emerita (https://orcid.org/0000-0002-6449-5618).
Since 2004, the Editor-in-Chief has been a Doctor of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, professor of comparative historical linguistics, and habilitated university professor. She has authored 160 scholarly publications, including six monographs in foreign languages. She is the founding editor of the monograph series Tractata Slavica and Studies in Linguistics of the Volga Region. She is a member of the Oriental Studies Scientific Committee of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, the international scholarly society Societas Uralo-Altaica (Göttingen), and serves on the advisory boards of several Hungarian and international journals (Nyelvelmélet és Nyelvleírás, Budapest, Hungary; Vestnik Čuvašskogo pedagogičeskogo universiteta im. I. Â. Âkovleva, Cheboksary, Russia; Zeszyty Cyrylo-Metodiańskie, Lublin, Poland; Proglas, Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria). The Editor-in-Chief also serves as head of the Linguistics Section.
