About the Journal

The Acta Agraria Debreceniensis (AAD) is a peer reviewed scientific journal published by the University of Debrecen, Faculty of Agricultural and Food Sciences and Environmental Management. Print ISSN: 2416-1640.

It was founded in 1966 by Agricultural University of Debrecen.

Publication frequency: 2 issues in each year (in June and December).

Manuscripts submission deadline for volume 1st is 30th November

                                                                 volume 2nd is 31th August

The Acta Agraria Debreceniensis (AAD) publishes both basic and applied research in areas of plant and animal sciences, biotechnology, plant and animal breeding, molecular technology, soil science, crop protection, horticulture, food and environmental sciences.  AAD journal is published (printed and electronic) in English. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration. This is an open access article distributed under the therms of Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC-BY 4.0), which permits unrestricted use, dristribution, and reproduction is any medium, provided the original author and source are credited.

The journal is a diamond open access journal, publishing and downloading articles are both free of charge.

The journal does not charge Article Processing Charges (APC) or submission fees and the journal doesn't charge any administrative fees or other costs.  Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author.

Each paper is evaluated in double blind, peer review process, with at least two reviewers for a paper.

We use Crossref/iThenticate for plagiarism checking and in ethical issues the COPE guidelines are followed.

All of our articles are available in the university repository: University of Debrecen Electronic Archive.
