About the Journal

The Department of Mechatronics, Faculty of Engineering, University of Debrecen launched a new journal in 2014 entitled ’Recent Innovations in Mechatronics (RIiM)’.

The RIiM is a peer-reviewed scientific journal covering the topics of mechatronics and related sciences. The single blind peer review system is used to review the submissions, which means that all articles are judged anonymously by at least two experts, that is why the author does not know the identiy of the reviewer.

The Journal publishes 1 issues yearly, at the end of the year.

The aim of the journal is to publish the latest studies and researches of professors, departments, scientific workshops, industrial partners and (PhD) students active in the field of mechatronics and related sciences.

The languages of the articles can be English or Hungarian, but in both cases the English title and the abstract is obligatory.

All articles are archived in the university repository: University of Debrecen Electronic Archive.

The RIiM does not charge authors any article processing charges (APCs), submission, or publication fees. RIiM is a fully open access journal. All articles are made available online to all users immediately after publication. Use and distribution in any forum is allowed, provided that the author and the journal are properly credited. Submission and publication are free of charge for authors.

We use iThenticate for plagiarism checking and in ethical issues the COPE guidelines are followed. For further information see: Publication Ethics.
