Copyright and License

Papers in Ethnographica et Folkloristica Carpathic are Open Access articles, and they are published under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution License CC BY-SA 4.0. This license allows reusers to distribute, remix, adapt, and build upon the material in any medium or format, so long as attribution is given to the creator. The license allows for commercial use. If you remix, adapt, or build upon the material, you must license the modified material under identical terms. CC BY-SA includes the following elements: BY  – Credit must be given to the creator, SA  – Adaptations must be shared under the same terms.

We only accept submissions which show originality, are not be plagiarized, and have not been published before. The paper must not be under consideration elsewhere, and the co-authors have approved the final publication process. All authors must agree to automatically transfer the copyright to the publisher if the manuscript is accepted. The authors can download the Copyright Transfer Agreement and the Cover letter here. These provide essential information, including who the corresponding author will be, and a statement signed by the corresponding author that written permission has been obtained from all persons named in the Acknowledgments, if needed. The publication rights of the manuscript content published by the journal are owned by the journal with the consent and approval of the author(s) concerned. This document must be attached in a PDF document for the submission process.
