Nowadays in the automotive industry both production and service, requires accurate lifetime calculations. Today we have big amount of theoretical background and nowadays the importancy of technical and industrial databases become more and more important. By materials scientific and fracture mechanics aspects are well covered, but the remaining stresses which are present in every step of production, we can not clearly identify the origin of them. There are different paralell methods to mesure them, but the application of different methods are depending on the engineers, and their expreiences at the company. This part of the analysis is not standardised yet, so there are differences even in the same company.

The aim of the research is to do a statistical evaluation of agricultural and rural development engineer student’s motivation and personal competency. It sums up the late generation Y’s characteristics and challenges. To be a successful, graduated employee, not only the skill is needed but the personal competency as well. Altogether, 121 filled out questionnaires were collected from the students which were the prime source of the research. They had to evaluate influential factors to their motivation level and competence. The database was analyzed with descriptive statistic methods, principal component and cluster analysis. Studying the personal competency, five different factors were divided based on Belbin’s team roles and four clusters. The four clusters were established by the five factors. Analyzing the student’s educational motivation four different components were divided: the need of performance, social entertainment, the benefits of learning in the near future and the reach of the financial freedom. Based on the four components, generating clusters was not possible due to the significance level of the K-means cluster analysis because it was higher than 0,05 in every grouping variables.

Today, the number of people who use public transport is decreasing, while the share of private transport is growing steadily. In order for people to choose public transport instead of a more convenient and more flexible individual transport, we need to know the factors that can influence them most in their decisions. In the first part of our article we review the main features of intermodality, intermodal nodes and intermodal public transport. Intermodal integration has to be realized through physical, network, fare, information and institutional level. In order to be able to formulate the integration goals correctly and to operate the entire intermodal system efficiently, we need to know the preferences that most affect the decisions of users of public transport or of nonusers. According to the literature, comfort, prices and travel time, on which people judge the status of public transport.
